  1. Pet Stages Cuddle Pal - has a velcro opening to take the heat bag out. You can put treats inside it instead. It's fairly small (about the size of my hand). http://www.vetnpetdirect.com.au/product.ph...t=451&page=
  2. Ooh how exciting, Kavik!! I have no idea, but good luck!!!!
  3. Thanks everyone! I will definitely put up the finished product. Who knows when we'll get there though... I'm not pushing this trick too hard - He's got a bit of balance to develop!!! So true, LilBailey - it's very important to teach this trick slowly even if the dog looks ready for the next step. They need lots of recovery time between sessions. The minimum time between sessions for Jedi and I was 1 week and each session was very quick (5 min). He knew what he had to do, he just needed to get past the physical barrier!
  4. Haha, I could easily shape picking tissues out of a box! My two are tissue thieves!!!!!!!!! No matter where the box is, I get home and they've found it!! Might not be such a good idea...
  5. I have nothing of benefit to add, but I just wanted to say that I hope it's nothing serious.
  6. I haven't added a cue yet. My ultimate goal is to get him doing it with no supports - once he's doing that I'll add a cue. He's just offering the behaviour at the moment (sometimes with a little encouragement of my hand near the ground - he often misses the books so I find keeping my hand there helps him 'find' them).
  7. I used phone books... Started off backing up onto one phone book, then two, then three, then four... etc. It takes a while to build up the right muscles though so it's a rather slow process! Jedi will walk up the stairs backwards now and I've also shaped individual leg lifts out of teaching this trick! It's been a lot of fun!
  8. I've been teaching Jedi to handstand for the past 3 months (on and off)... I thought we'd do a bit more today and we're almost there!! Has anyone else tried this? Jedi was destined from a young age...
  9. I shaped the dumbbell up to a point and then it just wasn't improving so I mixed things up a bit. A couple of tricks - head down, dance, reverse through my legs (Jed just did it one day!?). Probably more but I can't remember! Other things I tend to lure just in the very beginning and then shape.
  10. Thanks - they turned out better than I thought! It was past midnight and I wanted to go to bed! I don't know that BD would want my shots though...
  11. That sounds like a great idea, ASD! I don't see why they wouldn't let you. Unless they're a grumpy bum!
  12. It's just a 22 gauge cannula! Nothing to be afraid of!! I should have taken a photo of the 12 gauge I have!! MUHAHAH!!!!!
  13. Beautiful photos, PB! My photo from yesterday Better on Black And another
  14. He's dreaming. He may or may not continue to do it as an adult.
  15. Sorry BB!! I used to love drinking medicine when I was a kid! I have an idea for tomorrow's shot which you might not like either.
  16. Yeah, I agree. The more I look at the two photos, the more I like the red one.
  17. Thanks Iltby - that's exactly what I was going for. My shot from today... 'A Month of Medicine' I can't decide between the two... I was initially going for a clean, white, crisp-look... but ended up with this after a bit of fiddling!!
  18. 'A Month of Medicine' "Some light reading..." (yesterday's shot)
  19. An extreme rush-job! I just want to go to bed! Long day at the Royal! 'A Month of Medicine' 'Too much to do, too little time!'
  20. Again, I'm a day behind! Here's yesterday's photo... As suggested by Bindi!!! 'A Month of Medicine' "The morning after"
