  2. I didn't want to stay home while the footy is on as my OH is a mad Collingwood supporter and I couldn't stand the barracking for 2 hours. So we set off for a walk and went to a couple of different places, so here is some photos, also we came across a snake My youngest had his nose on it before we realized what is was gave me a hell of a fright! Anyway all good, gahtered up the dogs and headed to another place for them to have a run so we have all had a fun but exhausting afternoon.
  3. CB, your baby is growing up so quick, she is very pretty! Pandii, the footy was my biggest reason for the walk oh and the nicest day in a while, what a great afternoon it has been! Tez, I will be there tomorow if all is well with my mouth. Think I have been talking to much as the roof of my mouth is red raw and so painful, tooth hooe is a bit achy but dealing with it ok, the plate is extremely hard to get used too, so I should get there all being well. don't forget to put your clocks forward tonight. Well we certainly had a doogy afternoon with a nasty little suprise on our travels. First we went to Albert park, then we drove out to Janets new block and checked out the house site all ready to go Then we decided to go to another walking track, and we came across a snake, give me a hell of a fright so we wont be going there any more. RJ didnt seem phased even went back to snap some shots of it. anyway if anyone wants to have a looky at the pics, I am about to put some in the photo section but there is more here http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2838...mp;l=a6bc826cdb. edited for Spelling

So I will be up there about 2 - 2.30 ish and will probly be up there for a couple of hours as I would prefer not to be at home while the footy is going on! Hope to see you there sometime you have my Moby number so flick me a txt if your definatley coming. Tanya I guess you are firmly ensconsed in front of the tv or are you back at the G?? Anyone else wanna walk? Tenties why don't you bring some of your mob in for a run?
  7. Wow what a fabulous family you have there! Sounds like you have your very own zoo!! I have two cats as well as my four dogs, A beautiful birman boy (6) and a moggy who will be 19 this year. How do your dogs get on with your cats? My Birman is a push over and won't stand up for himself he lets the dogs drag him around, they try to play with him but they are too rough so I keep them separated. The old kitty is queeen of the house and rules the dogs with a tiny paw Your poodles are gorgeous!!
  8. DO you have face book, if you cant be bothered loading pics here, add them to a face book album and then just copy the link below the album and paste the link here. Not as much fun as looking at photos in the thread but a lot easier. Once the photos have uploaded, (did you resize them) Im not that familiar with flickr I use photo bucket, there will be a code with at the start and the end I think (someone correct me if Im wrong) and you paste the code into your post. The code maybe different for flickr.
  9. I was actually very proud of myself sitting in that chair in the dentist office, I told him I was extremely nervous and I've had a lot if teeth pulled but never been as nervous as this one! I have sore hands today from clenching them so tightly together Tez are you still on holidays? We should have organized a walk!
  10. I reckon some of Janes trouble is she has a super smart brain that she can't switch off. She loves to learn stuff and seems to take in every little thing, and you know she can be very focused when you need her to be. There was a dog at obedience once similar to Jane but he was badly reactive to other dogs, they ended up medicating him as they had tried everything else, he was a Doberman x. Are the diffusers exxy to buy? I had never heard of them till I met you.
  11. No not the dreaded lurgy I had my tooth out yesterday. And had the plate put strait in. I'm not to bad today thank god, little pain but keeping up the pain killers. Thinking if I'm up to it I might get the clippers out and clip Cooper, I don't have dogs at the moment, I have sheep. ;)
  12. What a cutie, I'd love to see more pics too!
  13. Hijack all you want those kitty pics are priceless, love Fibi on the boat, that is just amazing!!
  14. I hope i am too, lots of pain now, thank god for lots of medication!!
  15. Hi Tez, I have no advice just wanted to say to me she never seems stressed but as you have said hyper active, have you ever tried rescue remedy? I don't know much about that either but have heard it mentioned many times here. What does young Gus do while Jane is having her full on time, does he sleep through it? Really you would think as you have said she should be growing out of it by now. Hope she rests a bit easier tonight!!
  16. Hope he is goign to be ok, sending healing vibes for Rover!
  17. Ringo and Nandi are so cute together! I have never really thought about fluffier/long haired dogs being harder to photograph. I do think when I look at photos of short haired dogs they do look a lot clearer so you definatley have a point, I wonder if it is just the fact that strait coated dogs are just more streamlined therefore seem nore in focus?? Mish, your dogs are gorgeous, is your little poo a mini or a toy? Love them all on the bed, why did you have your Kitty shaved, is she a persian, shes very cute, How does she go on the boat do you take her out on the water? Gayle, your little fella has grown so quickly, they don't stay puppies long enough! A lovely doggy family you have thier!

Thanks they are pretty clever I will admit! I was suprised how quickly they caught onto the bell thing and how the boys just followed suit I didnt even show them how.

    Puppy Pads

I never used treats for rewards after toileting for that exact reason, just lots of praise.

Hi, I have trained my guys to ring a bell to let me know if they want to go out, My oldest two would whine at the door to let me know they wanted to go out but my third pup would sit at the door and didn't make a sound so if I didn't see her she would just wee at the door and that was that. So I decided to try using the bell, my OH said oh that will never work, she picked it up in one night. All I did was touch her paw on the bell hanging on the door and let her out to do her business and lots of praise when she came back in. By the next night she was doing it on her own only when she needed a wee. SHe also rings the bell now to let me know the cat is at the door. My other dogs also ring the bell except one, Im sure she thinks the bell is benieth her and she will give a little yap or wake me up to go out during the night. The two boys just picked up the bell ringing from watching Tully do it. Here is a website with how t ogo about it, but it is easy to teach and Beagles are smart he will catch on easily. http://www.dogchatforum.com/dog-puppy-ring-bell-go-out.htm
  21. When mine were on meat veg etc I only ever used human grade beef. Just curious, don't you have your boy on Nutro? Does he need mince as well?? Mine are on all dry EPH soon to be Nutro and also have RMB, chicken necks and wings.
  22. This one is probley the best close up one I have of all of them together, it is at the same park just on a not so windy day! We do get a lot of wind here but have the occasional calm day Not really a shallow depth of field but I like that they are all looking at the camera and it is resonably close up.
