  1. All my four eat whole chicken frames, I cut off any unnessesary (sp) skin.
  2. They don't like dog smell? how bizzare! How much time will they have to train the dog? Lab pups can be a lot of work as can any pup. Maybe tell her to watch Marley and Me, they might think twice after that Good on you for trying to help.
  3. Helen, you naughty girl, get on it!!
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4yEm-VWXa8 what about that one?
  5. Thats what I thought? I think when I uploaded it I didn't make it public.
  6. Could someone check this and see if it works, it is Shan and Maws tracking yesterday. I can't figure out how to make it public for everyone to see. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qxAq9gCePiA
  7. Fabulous shots as always! Red is just gorgeous, so is Ralph. Ralph definatley looks like a seasoned model!
  8. Well I did have a black vest on, but my doggie is white?? I have only been bitten once as a kid and that was when I stood one a half dead bee. I kept waiting for my lips to start tingling. ;) Someone must have been watching over me I think, it probly could have been a lot worse!
  9. :D That's him, I'd recognize that sword anywhere!! Yes they did sting a wee tad tonight it is ok but every now and then I get a pinging sharp pain where they bit me? not sure what thats all about ;) My arm is a tiny bit swelled but to look at you can't even see it. Yes Maws you bad girl for scitching the bees on me, talk about trying to put the competition out of the running :D
  10. Well done to Darcy!! The weather here was awesome for this time of the year, we couldn't have asked for a better day and after yesterday I thought we may have been doomed ;)
  11. Hi Guys, Wow what a great day! Yes Jj you were right track Bee was a real Buzz. Freaking Bees, I was just busy telling my OH about the killer bees that I fearlessly scared away with my manouvers ;) It was great to see all the dogs having such a great time, My girls are sound asleep now and Tully especially is stuff which is unusual for her, it takes a lot to wear her out, so tracking must be a real exhausting sport for dogs mentally..and with skills such a s my girls well what can I say she is awesome no seriously all the dogs did such a great job, I think it is an easy sport to teach and it is really beginners stuff but a good time was had by all. I have uploaded to pics to face book so I will just post the link her for those that want to have a look. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2234...mp;l=16e552a7c6 Also uploading a little video or two so I will post the link for that later too, it is taking a while to upload. JJ do you have face book??
  12. I agree, I had a bit of trouble with my oldest girl when she was younger and I took her to the vet and the vet said she may always need to have it done and then like clock work every month or so she was scooting again so back off to the vet we went again and again till about the 4th time when we got a different vet, she said to me that after looking at Lacys records that she felt every month or around there was too often and explained that if always manually done then scar tissue can be formed and it will then really always have to be done manually. So she suggested metamucil (but after some research I decided phsylium husks were better) in her food just a small amount to bulk up the fibre and as much as I wanted to take her in if she scooted I was to let her go and see what happened and sure enough it worked itself out so here we are over 2 years later and she is fine and hasn't needed it done since. Every now and then like maybe once every 3 or 4 months I will see her scoot through out the day then she is fine. So there is obvioulsy a bit of an issue there but it sorts itself out. I don't even use the phsylium husks anymore. So I am glad that I got a different vet that steered me down the right track.
  13. Me AWESOME!! thats funny!! Thanks Allie. OHHH a bonfire, hope we can have one tomorow that would be great! I do remember now about the log fence, but I will take my chair because if there is a few people there might be a bit of waiting around.
  14. Hi Tez, glad the boys got off to thier new homes, hope the girls aren't too hard on them for long!! Tully definatley did not get a big pile of "pooh" to roll in for her birthday! and she is lovely and clean but probly not for long tomorow, although I will be making every attempt that she doesn't get as filthy as she usually does, think it will cold in the morning so I will pack the doggy attire, in an attemp to keep her clean for at least part of the day! I have decided to bring Lacy and I'm hoping you are still bringing Allie so she can mind Lac for me when it's my turn. Im sure she will be ok tied up but Ill just tie her up somewhere close to where we are sitting so she should be fine! Did you take chairs last time? It has been ages since I went the first time so I can't remember what we did??
  15. Beautiful shots, gorgeous Doggies!! I love the last shot the best! Last month when I went away to my mums, two of mine did get a rat as big if not bigger than the one in your pics. they thought it was so great and as soon as they seen me they took off running and I tell you what I have never screamed so hard in all my life, I knew the rat would be full of rat sack and all I wanted them to do was drop it between me and mum they didn't have a chance niether did the rat RIP Ratty!!
  16. Go for it just start from now, I don't think any one will mind this is basically an unofficial thread for 52 weeks for dogs as some of us couldn't do it through flickr because umm well I can't remember actually there was a reason?? But a few are doing the offical one and a few just uploading our pics to flickr and to the DOL 52 weeks for dogs section!! Look forward to your shots!!
  17. Hey RJ, I'm sure the bag I just got was 15 kilo?? WIth the 10th bag free, is it the 10th or do you have to buy 10 then it is the 11th free, she explained it to me the other day maybe I missunderstood?? JJ your estimate is about right to Hawksdale. Hope you can make it, especially for the little dude to have a play with the rest of the doggies.
  18. Mine do it when they are getting ready to settle and get comfortable. Also they do it at the beach and dig a hole to lay in especially when it is hot! Perfectly normal.
  19. Everyone ready for tomorow? I have been and got my goodies for lunch and baked some muffins for morning tea. Lets just hope the weather holds out!!
  20. My baby girl Tully Jo is 3 today. Here is a couple of shots from today!
  21. Mmmm I think he looks really grumpy in the second last shot. My favorites now that I have looked at them again are probly the second and third, I can hear exactly what he is thinking, "just hurry the bloody hell up and dry me so I get out of here "
  22. Arghhhh, help me decide which one to use. 25/52 Bath Time Coopers 2nd least favorite thing in the whole wide world is having a bath, he is very good and tolerates it well but clearly he would rather be anywhere else I think it shows in there pictures how unimpressed he is!!
  23. that bath shot is awesome!!
  24. Yes I guess it is true that you really need to do a bit of experimenting to see what your dog/s do best on. I will be really curious to see how my lot go once the change is totally complete the jury is still out so far. They seem to have a lot of energy and I am not sure if it is the fact that our walks have been less due to weather or they are slightly ratty because they are hungry? The cost is the same is around the same as Euk $115 a bag depending on where you get it. Best friends in Geelong have it a bit cheaper but if you get it from PS they have a loyalty program so after the tenth bag you get a bag for free. It is hard to tell with my guys coats as they are long but they are always very soft but with short haired dogs it is easier to tell coat wise how they are doing. RJ's Boof always has a shiney nice coat and he and Sniffle are on EP too. I did try CJ on advance and pro plan before we went to EP and wasn't impressed with either of them. And I wouldn't touch Bonnie with a $40 foot pole although I know a few people who use it and thier dogs love it! Like you said you have to figure out what your dog does well on. Im quite prapared to change if the EP isnt satifactory. There is a lot of talk here on DOL about Artiems, but I dont think anyone in town sells it??
