I remember the first challenge, must go back and have a look, I can't even remember if I posted in it. :laugh: Lovely shots everyone. I remember a time when shooting into the light was such a no no but you can get some spectacular images doing this.

TNS I looked it up as I wondered the same thing.

It is so dinky! :laugh: Some more from today, I decided to go to the gardens and the breakwater so no doggy pics. That makes a change! :laugh:

I have some on disc but more recently I store all my photos to an external hard drive, they are much cheaper than they used to be and it's not time consuming to put them on. I have heard people say hard drives should be replaced every 4 years, not sure how true this is. The thing that bothers me is with the new technology, discs, hard drives, USB sticks etc, no one really knows the life span as they haven't been around long enough. Also what's next, I've got stuff on video, you can't even buy a video player now and I made sure I kept a video player to play the tapes if I want to. who knows what the next piece of technology will be. I'm curious to see what others do with theirs.

Im absolutely kicking myself today and it's my own stupid fault. I am about to run out of BH maybe got enough for tonight and that's it. So I ring our local supplier and she has no adult food at all. She said she had put this weeks order in but it hadn't turned up. So my only option is to buy Puppy, I'm just going to get a 3 kilo bag and hope the adult comes in soon! Arghhhhh I'm So stupid, I should have thought about it earlier in the week, she said she sold the last bag yesterday, they can't keep up with the demand.

Im hoping the weather is ok tomorrow Im going to take the dogs for a run and take it with for a play. Since I have got my camera I dont think there has been one decent day with nice light for photos. Im sure they will come eventually. :laugh:

Good idea! If you did that it would only be just over $150 each. But do they charge more if you get more than one item or maybe it goes on weight?

:laugh: sorry! It was $189 at DWI, plus I paid the $10 for 1-3 day delivery. So $199 all up. eglobal is cheaper but their postage is expensive making them around the same price. I've read a couple of bad reviews about DWI but this is the second lens I've got from them and all good so far.

It does look so cute on the camera, it's tiny, I took a shot of it with my iPhone, I'll post it tomorrow. It's probly something I didn't need but being so cheap and well how could I say no. :laugh: HERE is a comparison to other Primes.

I'm hoping once I get more used to the camera I will get steadier, the 7D has a very deep shutter, so I'm finding when I press the shutter button that's when I inadvertently move the camera.

Im glad Im not the only one, I for some reason thought a heavier camera would be the opposite but seems thats not the case, and also explains why my focus is hit an miss at times when It hasn't been in the past.

Ams, you do so much good work for dogs everywhere, sounds like the time is right to do something for you! :)
