I literally had no time to enter, or even attempt to photograph this year! but cant say im too impressed with some of those finalist photos. There are a handful of good ones (I particularly like the pregnant woman bubble gum one - that made me giggle).

Gorgeous, huga!! Its fun learning a new toy! When I got the 5D Mk II I was like WOW, needed to learn it all over again as I came from the 450D! Enjoy your new baby, cant wait to see what you capture with it! Ash, it was so nice of you to help Huga out with everything. I really look up to you!

Does anyone own a tilt shift or a lens baby? Im really loving some portraiture work im seeing with these! Could you post some examples of your work and comment on which lenses were used?

On sunday I met up with a fellow photographer friend who let me come along to one of her shoots. The family were more than happy to let me use the pics for my portfolio and signed a release. Here are just some of the pics from the day Im photographing some friends of mine who got engaged a few weeks ago, next sunday. It will be my first "couple" shoot - so excited!
