  1. That's one of the reasons I hate going out... even when I was 18, I couldn't stand the other 18 year olds! There is nothing I hate more than tarted up young girls acting like tarts. It's friggin hilarious to drive past a nightclub line in the middle of winter, with the girls dressed in skimpy outfits all huddled together shivering. Way to not look dumb, girls ;) I take comfort first! Which is probably why I'm still single, but meh Whats wrong with 18 year old girls ;) You're the exception Rach, you're not skanky Anyway, I am allowed to say that, because I didn't like 18 year olds when I was 18 myself :D
  2. Your parents moved out of their own house and have left their previous house to you? Do you have to pay any rent
  3. How's Trixie's weaves going? Come on, they can't be as bad as Millie and her exit problem!
  4. I've been with iinet for about 8 years now, never any major problems with them. Now that I've moved outta home, I have mobile broadband with Virgin and left iinet on at mum and dad's house.. but mum and dad are moving in a few months so I'm not sure if I should transfer iinet to my house or cancel it. It will cost me almost double to use iinet but I will lose the email address I've had for all these years! Dad just cancelled the iinet account he has had for years but organised to pay something tiny like $20/year to keep his email address. That might be an cheaper option? Didn't know that was possible. Thanks! I will look into it
  5. My dog walk phobic dog chooses the dog walk.... hmmmm.... Millie is such a tunnel suck, though This is the dog who offered a 2o2o at the end of a tunnel Oh that one will live with me forever :D
  6. Don't currently have a partner but would love one just like yours

  9. Nope, wouldn't recognise you in a skirt, either! I rocked up to agility training one night in shorts and my hair down as I was in such a rush I forgot to put it up, and oh my gawd the amount of comments I got! ;) Apparently dog people haven't ever seen me with my hair down or in shorts I wear shorts in summer training and I wear my hair down most of the week to work, so I found that quite weird Speaking of hair up/down, when you had your hair up at the last trial I think it was Sandi, I almost didn't recognise you Me thinks all us doggy people need to actually go out to dinner or something (with no dogs :p), get dressed up and be freaked out by how normal some of us can look when we're not dressed for dog activities! ;)
  10. Not as wrong sounding as what you said the other night about when Banjo is excited
  11. I'm in But of course once it cools down and my girls have had some practice with the bike
  12. Yeah RS, I have never know you to be puppy clucky And apparently a "real" life is one where you go out and get drunk and have a boyfriend and stuff like that? And have to wear a dress ;) Or so I have been told ;) Bollocks!! Hey I wore a dress the other day! :p And who needs a man when you can have dogs? Soooo much less trouble! I like my cocktails though, but rarely get drunk. The puppy dog way of life is the one for me (but if someone introduces me to a lovely guy who loves dogs then I might be swayed to incorporate that into my current lifestyle )
  13. I dug my bike out of the shed yesterday to try walking the girls next to it in the backyard, went quite well for their first experience next to a bike! I thought Millie would be petrified, but she coped. Ruby seemed enthused. So now I just gotta get the tyres pumped up and teach them to "heel" next to the bike!
  14. Good work FHRP! How long have you been training that and what method is it again? He is weaving like a champ! Edit: love the reward by the way Had I been holding that with Millie there is no way she would do anything! She just can't concentrate on anything when there is dinner around! Well I had a bit of success with my 2x2 weave training session with Millie this arvo :D I think I have narrowed the problem down to me being either standing still or running down the left hand side that is causing her to stall. If I send her from the left side of the arc and then run myself on the right hand side she's fine. I was getting frustrated at how long we've been at 4 poles because of the one entry problem so I decided to bite the bullet and put out the 3rd set. No problems weaving 5 and 6 sending her from the right and straight on Sent her from her troublesome side and ran down with her on the right and she did it, then I ran down the troublesome side with her and she went through 3 and 4 where she was previously stalling and is now stalling on 5 and 6 But at least we are progressing and she is understanding the weave action, so I think we're almost half way there now Will get an updated video later in the week if I remember
  15. Pudding is lovely I am puppy clucky again now though Lots of multidog families as lots of us on here compete with our puppies as we don't have a "real" life :D Although saying that I split my time between the horses and dogs You're always puppy clucky. Good thing I'm not Whaddya mean don't have a "real" life?
  16. I remember chatting to the ladies from this kennel once when I was looking into possibly getting a beagle, lovely ladies! Know what you mean about them making you all soft. I grew up with dogs too, even had my own, but it wasn't until I got my first Lab as an adult that I truly became a "dog person". I didn't understand the need for the dogs to be with you wherever you could take them, but now I do
  17. Pudding is terribly cute!! I knew of a couple of Labs once called Pumpkin and Pudding
  18. Yeah I don't party hard, I know that part Not with neighbours so close by I know my throws are off, but as previously discussed, if I throw any sooner to match it with her anticipated correct exit, she still exits incorrectly then I've already thrown the damn thing and she is being rewarded for being wrong! So I'm waiting to see if she does get past the second last pole like you say then throw which is also slowing her down. But what I don't understand is, she is exiting fine on the one side, why not on the other?! I thought entries were going to be the biggest bitch, not EXITS!!! I cannot explain why one side is different to the other. If she was doing wrong exits when entering from all angles, I'd put it down to 100% bad throws down the reward line, but I'm getting some of them right if she's exiting properly when entering on the right, and Ruby never had this problem! Anyway with all the tips I was given before Xmas, I really need to get stuck back into this training
  19. Bump for Tassie. And to add that I tested sending Millie in from the right (her better side), rear crossing her so I was then running with her on the left (side she is having trouble) to see if it is my positioning that is causing the stalling. Nope, she kept going to the end and exited fine with me running along the left side of the poles.
  20. I haven't ridden a bike in a very long time I will need to go and buy one as I want to do the ET with Banjo this year We should all try and get to the same trial Any maybe meet up for a couple of cycle sessions to get the dogs used to other bikes around WA Endurance Tests are on the 18th June and 3&4th September Keen to catch up..... as long as you're wearing underwear!!!!!!!!
  21. Exit... only when she is entering from the left. Confusing? Yep Look for my videos a few pages back to see what I mean
  22. The rain hit as I was walking from the train to the office ;) I only got a little bit wet. Good thing I had the sense to put my hair up today, I hate having my hair down when it rains! As for the heat last night, the dogs were sprawled out on the tiles in the laundry all night, they didn't want their beds
  23. Jedi is looking great, TN Wish I could say the same about Millie, but I've only done 2 very short sessions with her since I posted our video before Christmas and she is still stalling at the end when entering from the left hand side I'm still worried about adding the 5th/6th poles. I feel like I need to add it now as we've been on 4 poles forever which is not good for progression, but if I add it now then I'll have to babysit her entries to ensure she doesn't stall at the end! :D
  24. there are many advantages in being single http://www.youtube.com/user/weevdog#p/a/u/0/MH-kWnRxq8w Except for the lack of funds to buy that shack on a large property :D I keep looking at realestate.com.au and the first thing I look at is the land, not the house
