  1. Awesome Careful though, putting a pool on the grass will quickly kill your new grass! If the pool will be a permanent fixture, maybe leave a patch without grass for the pool?
  2. I see mirawee lurking :p Thanks for running Ruby last night, it was great to step back and see her do her thang as I can't see it when I'm running her! She's a good munchkin when she wants to be :p Now if only I could convince her that the dogwalk and seesaw aren't the scariest things on earth
  3. Lunch at 10.20am?! :p Does it have to be a yes/no answer? Can you ask them to describe what the poo looks like and then base a couple of responses on their answer? Sort of like a Choose Your Own Adventure book :p
  4. Where are you off to (Kalgoorlie??) and why? :p
  5. Lara always gets to go around Rally with me! Since she has been doing Obedience before I got my pen licence ( ) she know what she is doing way better then me and loves to ignore me completely if my signals aren't great. Such a good teacher :D :p :p
  6. How'd you know and how'd you get it out!? I probably wouldn't know a tick though
  7. Not sure. If it weren't for the lack of dog trials and jobs, Tasmania is looking enticing. I could afford the large property I seek ;) Do it - we need more triallers - and we can weird you oout even more by actually copying you, instead of just thinking of you the way JulesP did :p . And hot here is nowhere near as frequent or as hot as WA. Whereabouts in Tassie are you and are there dog trials held all over Tas? Only copy me if you want to bomb out quite regularly Oh and I like the hot, Tas would probably be too cold for me!!

  9. I think all of us did It might have been a good thing that we did wag since I hear 2 cars were broken into and things stolen - so just a reminder - lock your cars when at K9. Also 2 agility dogs back from the Susan Garrett seminar in NSW are at Murdoch with tick bites :p Fingers crossed they are both OK. Did you wag too, Ptolomy? Stupid thieves ;) All this talk of ticks and stuff makes me too scared to move away from Perth, even though I've considered it on numerous occasions! Like last night again ;)
  10. I wagged training tonight I've been trying to study. Haven't gotten as far as I'd like!
  11. Lol - so cute, I am feeling really bad the last few days about Mason being an only dog, he needs someone to wrestle with too!! And I think he is way too spoiled by OH and I because he gets all our attention You're just trying to talk yourself into this dog should he become available :D If he's what you want and hubby agrees, you know you're giving a great dog a great home He's a lovely boy and you know why I think so
  12. I suppose you can post my foot ;) Surprised I have toes left, the puppies were knawing at them!
  13. Thanks for the titre test info guys. So they only need to test for Parvo and Distemper? Hepatitis isn't necessary? Candice, please don't put up any photos that have me in it! ;) But can't wait to see the pics!
  14. ;) I must be special Still don't get how Ptolomy = tollerme Ever heard of a silent P?
  15. Of course everywhere you take your dogs (training, boarding, etc) require annual vacs, or titre testing. Hence me seeking out answers to titre testing ;)
  16. Can someone please explain to me in dummy's terms how to go about getting my dogs titre tested? I don't vaccinate my dogs every year now - Ruby's last one was in 2008 or 2009 and Millie's 2009, so I should be going about checking their immunity level now shouldn't I? What do I ask for from the vet? If I just ask for a titre test will that cover everything or do I have to be specific about what I want them to check immunity for? And how often should you titre test?
  17. I switched at 6 months, and got told off by a vet nurse who said to use it til 18 months of age. Don't appreciate being told I know nothing because I am just a "pet owner" :D Her 18 month GR was still on it, apparently. I told her to mind her own business Turned out she was just trying to flog the Advance puppy formula in their clinic when she gave me an Advance brochure outlining why it's so important to keep them on puppy food
  18. I was shocked when I heard puppy Cider do it for the first time :D Amy, totally weird dream last night. I dreamt Trixie's black coat turned grey, and she got really, really FAT
  19. Candice, how did the puppy photos from Saturday turn out? Would love to see some! Lab puppy breath
  20. :D Pot, kettle, etc etc I'm not 100% certain I'll be at training tonight, I really need to study! Don't go eating cake without me
  21. Same with the chocolate. Millie's coat isn't it's usual glossy self at the moment, but her undercoat is coming out in chunks which is when her coat doesn't look its best. My girls have been on Nutro for a few weeks now, I will use the rest of the packet and see if things improve with their coats and poos. Ruby's are a tad too soft for my liking on this food. Hopefully it's just a case of their bodies still getting used to it!
  22. Yes, a lovely cool change! I'm a warm weather fan, but welcome the cool change for the dogs and my lawn! You should take Bear out in the car more often if he is screaming to get him used to it I remember Ruby's first car ride (the one after she came home from the breeders), she had to sit in the backseat (belted up of course!) by herself and she screamed the car down!! I had people in other cars at the lights looking into my car Every time she was quiet, I leant over and gave her a treat. Seemed to work, only took another car ride or two before she was quiet :D The only noise I hear in the car these days is an impatient whine to say "are we there yet?!" Or the excited sigh as we pull into the K9
