I can join the club. Ruby is actually too short by the looks of it! ANKC website: Bitches 55 - 56 cms (21.5 - 22 ins) at withers Ruby is 53cm and Millie is about 52-52.5cm! I sure wouldn't have thought so, maybe the svelte body makes their legs look longer therefore making them look tall, when really that aren't!

All this talk of you people with dogs smaller than Labs getting 22" coats when I was considering ordering a 20" for my girls I know for sure the 24" is too big on them (even around their fronts), so maybe I will go 22" and just have to live with however it fits! I want to order from that site Amy posted, they do all different coloured bands while CR only offer it in the 2 colours! Ripped off!!

Why is that? I thought their dogs were smaller than your girls ;) maybe not They're all within 1cm of height of each other I believe. The girl Tollers are smaller than my girls, but these are their BOYS remember :D Boys are usually bigger aren't they?

You've already planned out how many titles you want first? :D So what breed did you decide on? Toller? You'll probably get a new pup before me! And I thought you were much, much longer than that away for the next one! Ermm nope mine aren't in maintenance mode, not by a long shot!! New pup when/if that ever happens! But I would so love a pup to start fresh with But I will enjoy the blank slate so much more when I can put most of my focus on the new pup and "maintain" the other two

I had "Ruby" picked out long before she was even conceived So when she was born, we knew which one she was quite early on so the breeder was calling her Ruby for me before I picked her up so she already was responding to her name :D And that's how her registered name has Ruby in it. Quite a boring story Would have been more interesting had it been something like "Ruby Tuesday" or "Ruby Slippers" or something Just re-measured my two for cool coats (managed to offlead mine so going to repurchase smaller sizes ) and it is looking like I might even go for the 20"! Downsizing from 24". Who bought the 20"? I remember someone with a smaller dog (Tiggy or mirawee with one of their Banjo's?) getting 20" so can't believe I need to consider that size for a Lab. It might be a fraction too short on Ruby but I would rather it not hang over her tail any.

I don't think I would like free range to choose a name, I would get awfully confused as I am very indecisive! But I would love to be given a theme or something to work from and then come up with something. Or at the bare minimum, have a few from the breeder to choose from :D I know it's superficial but I don't want something really horrible! Ruby's is pretty boring as it is

:D I'm hoping my next dog I will be allowed to have some input into the registered name. It's one of the fun parts! I'm certain if I had asked, Ruby's breeder would have let me. But as I had no idea about registered names then, I didn't ask, so she just chose something with her pet name in it for me and it came as a surprise when her papers arrived in the mail What is Ari's registered name?

All these new puppies makes me think I should just go ahead and seriously look into getting a new bubba :D
