He had something similar once but everytime he dropped it the whole thing would open and the mechanism would pop out! It's fully contained (which also means when it dies you can't replace batteries or anything). I wasn't sure mine would like it but it was a real hit! They're only cheap so won't hurt to try one

I'm tempted to buy 2 more zap balls while they are still free shipping to put away for safe keeping like I have with my i-squeaks. I have a stash of brand new i-squeaks sitting in the cupboard in waiting for when the current ones are broken We're doing well, though! In the almost 2 years I've had them, out of 2 medium and 2 small, I have only had 1 small die! The zap balls are proving to be a hit, but the test will be when I have a zap ball and an i-squeak out, which will they choose then :D I'm also going to buy the tuggy food pouch thingy. Candice had one on the weekend and they are much bigger than I thought, and for only 10 bucks and free shipping, bargain baby! When I go bankrupt, I am blaming Clean Run!!!

Nawww how cute is Dougal! Yes I will definitely put a blankie on the lounge if I allowed it, regardless of breed, but Lab hair goes EVERYWHERE even with blanket! I have hair on the lounge and they aren't allowed up, it's just airborne and on my clothes, even when I can't see it on my clothes! I know Aussies drop coat but it can't be anything like a Lab coat, so I want my Aussie to have cuddles on the lounge with Sshhh, don't tell my two this

I have to try and be good but can't promise . RS I have those limited slip collars for my dogs, I quite like them but there's a big difference between the medium and large, I got Banjo the large first but it looked too puffy as it was doubled up about half way, so now he has the medium which looks good but it's let out almost all the way, your girls might fit the medium, Banjo probably has a bigger head ;) . Do they wear well as regular collars, or only when there is a lead attached? My girls have dainty necks so I usually buy the size under recommended for a Lab. I hate thick collars which is all they really do in large breed sizes! Like a thicker collar is going to make walking a large breed easier. Helloooo, training!

I want my puppy :D But gosh my two are so cute right now, all cuddled up together on the floor. Last night Millie practically laid on top of Ruby and they were both there squished up against each other staring at me Meanwhile the bed next to them was empty! Would it be so very wrong of me to get a puppy that doesn't shed as crazy as a Lab, and allow it on the lounge for cuddles while I still ban my Labs from having lounge priveleges? ;) Lol that would be so so mean One of the reasons that Mason is allowed on the bed and the lounge ( hubby started all of this though) is that the cats are allowed, so its a bit mean to make him stay off the furniture when they are allowed on? Plus when OH is on nightshift I like the cuddles Actually, Ruby wouldn't care. Millie would, though. Millie used to lay on the lounge at mum and dad's (even though I kept telling her off, dad would allow her to during the day! :p) and Ruby never once tried getting on the lounge. Even as a pup, I don't recall her ever getting on the furniture I'm pretty strict with no lounge/no bed rule, but part of me wants to soften up to get more cuddles. But the HAIR :D

+1!! Oh lordy I am so jealous, I am yearning puppies again!! After Sunday and being completely frustrated with my girls, I was thinking puppy no way, but puppy cluckiness is back Tiggy, how are you going to cope with puppy's daytime meals and semi-confinement from your other dogs while you are at work? This is the thing I can't figure out if I get another pup. It was fine with Ruby, I was living at home then and had Mum and Dad working different hours meaning she was home by herself only a couple of hours during the day so I had someone to feed her while she was little. Now I live alone, and have 2 full grown Labs, I would have to contain puppy somewhere and have Dad come feed it during the day! It's all too hard ;) Agreed! I have pups set up in a puppy pen or small yard by themselves when I am at work until they are old enough to cope with the big kids :D Feeds are done early morning, just before I leave (biscuits put in for during the day) often with a kong set up, then as soon as I get back from work and a meal before bed. That is until I wean them onto 2 feeds a day which doesn't take long Seriously most pups cope ok with two meals a day :p I read all this info leading up to getting Ruby that you MUST feed pup 4 times a day. Then the breeder gave me a menu that only meant feeding breakfast, lunch and dinner, so naturally I went with this I weaned her to 2 meals a day at 6 months of age, and that is what my dogs continue to get now. They'd hate me if they only got fed once a day! They also get a kong when I leave in the morning. I know I could cope with a pup, and it's only for a few months anyway being confined from the big kids until it's big enough (depending on size of breed I'd be getting of course). Something to think about :D

Ahh ok that could work. Though I worry about the meal so close to bed, that could get ugly!

I try up the side streets and have lousy luck! If some of us around the K9 area want to car pool then I think parking would be easier wherever we choose. Effective immediately!! Unless I can get puppy cuddles
