How'd you get that? Is that a gift from a friend or a Clean Run gift to you cos you're a serial CR shopaholic? Just 2 cool coats and 2 zap balls, nothing spesh!

Both my girls have tattoos... and one is an associate dog, meaning she has to be desexed, yet not one club I know has taken tattoos as proof, they prefer to just do the "wipe". One club just asked if they were desexed, I said yes, and that was all I had to do But showing a tattoo or being vetted still involves some sort of check so doing either one doesn't bother me.
-
You beat me to it The point I was trying to make, too Glad to know I'm not the only paranoid one
-
I opt for tattoos because I fear if a bitch got lost/stolen and got into the wrong hands (someone who was out to breed), they would see at a glance that the bitch won't be any good to them and perhaps not steal them in the first place. Rare chance I know, but it's what my mind has always thought. Very good points made here about rescue orgs and the like not having to open them up again to see if they are desexed. Unless your dog's ears stand up, you don't see it anyway unless you look for it so they are a plus in my eyes

I don't go for walks in the rain, I don't like it and my girls would prefer not to! So if we don't like walking in the rain, training in the rain isn't going to happen either
-
I have my Clean Run items in the cart, ready to check out.... but keep putting it off, that's another $73 spent on the dogs! I am saving for a coffee machine for me, and that $73 would be nice to go towards it Why do the dogs constantly come first?

Lazy I was there tonight with my girls on the top oval getting picked on by Ptolomy She gave me homework Then I went to the bottom oval for our agility assessment. Ruby kicked some booty, very proud of her, but I am choosing to stay back in the same class next term to get some more handling help and get some tips to work on getting a bit more speed out of my Lab and Ruby still isn't the most confident on the dog walk so don't want to rush her onto the full height one just yet
-
I've tried training in the rain, but Ruby just looks up at me squinting her eyes and I can't bear to see her try and then suffer cos of it, so I don't often train in the rain and have been lucky not to have trialled in pouring rain before, only a slight drizzle! I do train all through winter, though. There are many people who only return to club grounds to train when the weather starts getting warmer. But I'm there all year round regardless! (except if it's heavy rain )

;) Gosh that was the funniest thing

Awesome!! What size did you end up getting again? I will need to order mine very soon before they aren't free to ship anymore Happy Birthday, ST!!!

Your signals are lovely and neat! You're an "over arm" dumbell thrower, I don't see many of those! I'm a real crap throw myself, but got a dumbell throwing tip on Monday night from a fellow Lab owner and it really did improve my throws! I'm still more than capable of throwing some awful ones, but managed to throw quite a few straight ones in a row It's all in the flick of the wrist :D I'm an "under arm" thrower for the dumbell. I might have to get a few practice sessions in before this weekend :D P.S. If you're not in the ring when I am this weekend, hopefully you can check out my newly amended signals in DOR and distance control and see if they're any better than the last trial And if not, give me a stern picking on :D Alright, here's my video from today that includes my first ever attempt at throwing dumbell overarm :p Didn't do too badly! I may or may not change to this from now on. I'm an almost convert. From thinking it looks really dicky, to now seeing how functional it really is despite its dickiness
-
bedazzled - can you pretty please upload Ptolomy's distance control? I don't mean Beans', I mean Ptolomy's
-
Oh she is so cute!!
-
One, ten! They will make me feel better when Ruby greets the stewards in the heelwork, when she jumps on the judge in the SFE, when she looks at me like she's never seen the drop signal in her life before in the DOR, shall I go on? So, remind me why are we getting out of our lovely cosy beds so early in the morning to drive all the way to Bunbury for our naughty pooches. :D Beacuse I do it every bloody show and I think I should have a sleep in once or twice a year! Well at least till 6am!! lolololol But you have good puppy dogs that make it worth the trip . Mean't to come across for Xolo pats after presentations today and then got sidetracked and missed you. lol Sorry I missed you, I only recognised Sandy because of her dog! lol That obedience looks so much fun ( and hard work and dedication) and I can see how proud all the handlers are, what a super bunch of people, and the nice lady Valeta??sp measured my two dogs for me!! I didn't see any Xolos today! I was there with the ratbag Lab, you shoulda come over and said hi!
-
When I went to Europe, in Holland people would take their dogs into restraunts with them! The dogs just sat under the table, the waitress even brought it a bowl of water! Awwwww no fair!!!
-
Well done, smisch!! Good boy, Jock You can't retire him when he's having so much fun :p Sounds like Denver was a good boy too!
-
Surprisingly, I'm ok It wasn't the greatest round possible. It's those rounds that feel so brilliant with a score that reflects it when you bomb in the stays that upset me. We'll get there one day, and just have fun along the way!
-
There's Cider video as I filmed it, but it's on Ptolomy's camera, so don't look at me for it I have video for Ruby, will upload selective pieces if I can be bothered
-
Still have some cookies left! I have some more DOR, SFE and stay work to do
-
Was that with Ruby or Millie? Ruby in Open :p I left Millie at home today. No passes for us but thrilled with her work today Lots to improve on still but I had some nice positives to take away from the day. eg. She did her SFE in the morning trial only losing 1 point for a moved paw as I returned, and she managed an out of sight sit stay and out of sight down stay today... albeit not both in the same trial but still good Cider got 97 being CCD Oustanding work from the gorgeous little red kid!!!! :p
-
For the humans :D Peanut butter cookies with choc chips and Reece's Pieces (M&M type things but instead of choc, they are filled with peanut butter). I reckon Ruby would work for one
-
Thanks, guys. But I don't need luck for the trial... I have cookies!!! ok, a little luck too wouldn't go astray :D
-
Sorry to hear that sas Honestly, bloody trialling, don't know why we do it! :D Oh well eh! Bugger, sas Know what the disappointment is like far too well!! Better luck for next time
-
Ditto. There's only usually a handful of double trials available throughout the year. Tomorrow just happens to be a double for us. Terribly tiring for the dog AND handler, though! And this one has a 2 hour drive home afterwards, so not looking forward to that :D Might have to stop off for a large coffee somewhere on the way home to ensure we get home in one piece!
