Just out of pure curiosity, do the breeders who look after the dogs they bred while the owners are on holidays charge for boarding or just the cost of food? I've always wondered

I'd go for the breeder option, too. I love my breeder, wonderful lady, but she doesn't have the capacity to look after anyone else's dogs, so I envy those of you who have breeders you can leave your dogs with if you need it! I have my parents to leave my dogs at, but if the whole family decide to go on holiday (which we've often talked about), then I will probably have to do the boarding kennel thing.

Would your friend get it through City of Gosnells? YEP I get them all through all over have 100% sucess so far! There is always appeals to Minister if all else fails!! So when I finally want that third dog, I could hire you and your friend to help me get the application through CoG? This is a council area that does not even let you apply for a 3rd dog permit! I'd be really interested to hear of anyone actually getting permission in the CoG area, and how it was done!!! To once again quote an email they sent me: Further to your email regarding keeping of 3 dogs in the City of Gosnells. Unlike most other Councils the City of Gosnells operates under a Town Planning Scheme which does not allow for more than 2 dogs on any property other than in the Kennel Zone. There are no applications or fees that can be sought as there is absolutely no provision for any property (other than in Kennel Zone section of Southern River) to have more than 2 dogs on it.

Are they just as strict as CoG? Strict 2 dog limit, no ifs no buts?

Thanks J, unfortunately this is 'normal' behaviour for him :D thanks for another recommendation too and don't tempt me with puppies, that's very bad Anyway I'm up to my 2 dog limit for Perth Its ok you can get three just apply! ( I know someone who has written up that many three dogs apps and never failed!! lol) Your kids look so healthy and happy! Would your friend get it through City of Gosnells?

sas, I've said it before and I'll say it again. Dante You have done soooo well with him! His rear end awareness poops all over the rear end awareness my Labs have! You have give me inspiration to get back to training more of it I have the front problems too, and I found Ruby started targeting my, ahem, crotch area with her nose and I had somehow built that into the criteria so I left it be as I thought oh well at least it's bringing her in! But now she targets it with the dumbell and it flicks her backwards in the process, causing her to toss the dumbell backwards in her mouth as she tries to get a better grip. Millie has personal space issues and has taken a while to get her in closer. My main trouble now is getting them to both come in STRAIGHT. Ruby favours resting her weight on one leg more than the other, so it causes crooked sits. Anyhoo, that is my rant.... just wanted to say how lovely Dante is

A vet I volunteered at several years ago used to have I think 2 cats just roaming the clinic. Anywhere from out back to out in the waiting room. I just don't get it, as not all dogs like cats or have been brought up in the same home as one!

I think I'll be walking like I have something stuck up there for a few weeks afterwards! I don't even know if my bike is any good for such an event. It's an el cheapo $100 Kmart bike I bought several years ago but have used maybe once It did get me quite far on that one ride I did do! But maaaaan I was sore afterwards!!!

Chessies do very well in dock diving. I'm sorry I missed this. Badazzled glad the dogs are ok. I missed what breed the last jumper was, but he looked like a Lab X maybe a greyhound to me :D He won! Chessie came in 2nd I think. Bedazzled Glad the dogs are ok after a nice big vomit!! Bad puppies. Trust them to pick a block that had sultanas in it to boot!
