How Can Such A Mark Up Be Justified
Kirislin replied to Loving my Oldies's topic in General Dog Discussion
I dont think so, they would recognise that the script is from a vet. I used to have to buy animal meds from a chemist but I couldn't get them on a health care card. -
I haven't had many opportunities to photograph lightning, and I dont have a tripod. 3 years ago on Christmas day though we had a tremendous storm come rolling in and I set my camera up on a fence post and hoped for the best. I'm OK with their privates so long as there's no drippies.
-
I recently met a male dog who pleasures himself, although I have to say it didn't look pleasurable, he seemed to be chewing it off. I've never seen a dog do what he did before, it was certainly an education for me.

Italian greyhounds have disproportionately large genitals. They are very well endowed for such little dogs, and randy too!! Always lots of humping and conga lines with Iggies, it's not just the boys who have biggies either........... the number of photos I have decided NOT to post of Neko might surprise you. I've even done some photographic surgery (labiectomies) on her when it was distracing.

I dont like having to dodge penises when cuddling or picking up a male dog. I dont like it when they get that goey blob on the end of it. I knew a woman with a large GSD who always had a drippy dick. He'd leave pus coloured blobs on her floor and she'd point to them and say clean that up so he'd go and slurp them up. All that said, I have 2 boys and I wouldn't trade them for the world. They mostly have clean penises thankfully.

that's amazing. I wonder why she leaves him alone with free run of the house knowing what he's like. My whippets have never done anything too bad except for the olive oil, but they're 10 years old. Neko on the other hand, I still wont leave her unattended in the house and I've had her for 13months. Do you know what kind of insurance cover she has?
-
unfortunately there's no breed club for Italian Greyhounds, the dogs aren't fighters but it seems their breeders are.

does anyone know if they exist and if so where they might be found? I've searched without success.

IG remind me sometimes of little foals the way they frolic. -

Oh! nothing exciting, just trying to pick photos for an IG calendar, but I've decided to use both, I'll probably use one this year and the other next year. :D Thanks everyone for your opinions. #2 was my fave as well although after reading everyone's comments and reasons I started to like #1 as well. -
I hope those dingos were paying attention when being taught how to use the camera. They looked like they were. Your photos are fascinating, and beautifully done too!

I have to say Filly is absolutely gorgeous in real life. She's tiny, vivacious and pretty and when I first met her I was pretty taken with her. Also, I love her name. I asked her owner if she named her that because of the way she frolics and she said yes. Neko does exactly the same thing, she rears in the air and waves her front legs about just like a little foal when it plays. It's the cutest thing but I've almost never captured it on the camera. If you met Filly I have no doubt you would be wanting to stuff her into your bag and sneak off.

  I agree, although I must admit, Dolly is very cute. It was funny, I had quite alot of people come up to me on the day and ask "is this Neko?" One lady also told me she was walking her (very pretty, little seal) IG in a suburban park in Melb and a couple hurried up to her and asked if it was Neko. She said no, she wished it was. It seems my little girl is famous. Even if the judges dont like her, the public does. Here's the lady's little IG who was mistaken for Neko. Her name if Filly. She's smaller than Neko and very sweet. 5F6A6464dppt by kirislin, on Flickr Would it be mean of me to say that this dog is very pretty, but still not a patch on our gorgeous Neko? T. Well of course you know where my preferences are but she really is very lovely, and I suspect better behaved and trained than Neko.

I can change that because it's been cropped, I can re crop another way. What position of the dog do you prefer? -
I want to know which is the better/nicer/cuter/whatever photo. I made the mistake of asking a friend and he prefers the one I dont like as much. I wont say which I prefer here, I want to know the general consensus please. Once I've decided I'll take out some of the background, so dont worry about that just yet. #1 5F6A6258dppt by kirislin, on Flickr or #2 5F6A6257dppt by kirislin, on Flickr

You'll have lots of fun with it by the looks of things. I'm a great one for buying birthday presents for myself. You deserve it. :D The scenery there is amazing. Those humps in the road mile after mile, Wow!

I went to an IG get together on Sunday. There were lots of people and IGs there. Here's my beautiful girl trying to charm treats off a nice lady. But she had some competition. Dolly who's also very beautiful, so Neko had to show of her balancing skills. 5F6A6279dppt by kirislin, on Flickr while Dolly cast some deadly glances at her. sorry you're unwell, I hope it's getting better.

I thought you were covered for storm damage. I think I am anyway but no doubt there'd be something in the fine print to count it out if it happened I suppose. As to my carpet, it's really old anyway and time it was pulled up, I just cant afford to do it, although I'll have to. I think I'm more disappointed that after 17 years never claiming I discover that when I do I'm not covered for this particular incident. Something so minor as if it was a friends dog, rather than my own, I would be covered.

Call them back 'My friend was the one that knocked it over, she just blamed the dogs, but when I told her insurance wouldn't cover it she came clean' :p you may also need to come up with a reason as to why she couldn't have picked it up before the entire 2ltr bottle was emptied I've realised I'm also not covered for accidental damage. I'm covered for fires, floods (which I dont want or need because I live on a hill but have to have) storms and a few other things, but for $1100 a year I dont get much.
