what happened to its feet? I dont think it's illegal to own a croc. I know of a bloke who kept them in a garage in Lilydale. I wouldn't think it would be a very good existence for the croc though and I dont know what would happen to it if the bloke wanted to move house. Transporting it could be difficult.

Seems like he wasn't concerned about being seen. Sitting on the gutter outside, he wasn't in a hurry to leave. Very odd. These are really good clear pictures of a fairly distinctive looking bloke, surely someone will know him and report to police. I hope the dog is returned safely. I wonder why the neighbours let him jump their fence, he must have told a convincing lie, or they're completely silly.

that would surely be too much fun for a child to go to sleep!

I emailed Clean Run awhile back and they said they are no longer offering free international shipping as it was not sustainable enough for them Surely the entire DOL community would keep their business afloat over the xmas period.... that doesn't surprise me. I took advantage of the free shipping and bought some soft toys from them once that could easily have been shipped in a soft tuff bag but they came in a box! It was almost empty because they only took up a tiny bit of room. I remember wondering at the time how they could be making money because the shipping must have cost more than the toys.

I'm giving my vet a redbubble calendar with photos of my animals on it.

Transporting Dogs And Cats From Paralysis Tick Areas
Kirislin replied to Kirislin's topic in General Dog Discussion
How do they police it though if someone just puts their dog in the car and starts driving, which come to think of it, is exactly what I did with my whippets when I brought them back to Vic at the same time I brought the horses back. Thankfully they didn't have ticks on them, but it never occurred to me to tell anyone, and no one asked. -
When I moved my 2 horses from Qld to NSW and eventually back to Vic there was a fairly involved, and expensive procedure to get them sprayed for cattle ticks so they dont bring them to areas that dont currently have them. I've heard recently of dogs being brought back down South to areas that dont currently have paralysis ticks and they were infected with them. It made me wonder, are any precautions taken to stop the spread of them on cats and dogs, and any other livestock for that matter the way the authorities do for the cattle tick?

I've often said Neko reminds me of an Arabian foal. Then I found this photo. If Neko was a horse she'd look like this. If Neko was a horse.jpg 2 by kirislin, on Flickr

seriously that's pretty funny, how did it come to land on your head, or is it there all the time?

which one is you?
-
Perhaps this breeder has been burnt before. I think he/she sounds very careful. So what do you think you will do?

All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth
Kirislin replied to suziwong66's topic in General Dog Discussion
I keep all baby teeth I find and put them between sticky paper. I've still got Pagans (horse) teeth, she's just turned 30 and I found Pucks the other day and he's just turned 10. I never found any of Nekos though. Not sure if it's because they're so tiny or my eyes are failing. I suspect it's the latter. -
Even better!! My friend was looking for something suitable for ages and was wrapt when he found the horse steps. I should've asked here for him in the first place.

I'm not sure if anyone else uses these but thought it worth mentioning. Sometimes it's hard for old arthriticky dogs to get onto your bed. If you still dont mind them there and want to help them get up has anyone considered a mounting block, used for people who need help getting on their horse. It's a set of steps that fit perfectly against the bed. My friend bought some on the weekend from a country feed merchant for $110 but when I priced them at Horseland they were $160!!! I then looked them up on ebay and you can get them out from the US for just under $100 and at that price they might be worth it. mounting block on ebay

good luck, I know how stressful it is to have two who were once friends change like this. I hope with some help and advice you can manage it, you're doing the right thing seeking help and I think the video will be of use to her too.

see if you can straighten the horizon.

It's rotten when you have more than one old dog to nurse at the same time. I do understand. Someone else might say well at least crate the dog so it doesn't mess in your bed, but I could never bring myself to do that to her. I'd wake up with little hard pebbles of poo in the bed and as gross as that sounds I still couldn't bring myself to kick the old girl out of bed. She didn't even know she was doing it. You have my sympathy. It can be very wearying.

Who typed this, you or the dog?
-
I didn't make it clear but I meant HER left, so on the right in the photo.
-
the lead dog on the left in the blonde girl's team looks like a cross bred of some kind.
-
Great shots!! what do they feed their dogs?

Canon also has a noise reduction program in DPP which you would have got on a CD when you bought the camera.
