  1. I agree 100% Snook. Too many patents put their children in potentially dangerous situations when it comes to dogs. The dog they have could be a SWF who is calm, friendly and obedient and just around the corner is an off lead DA dog.... Potentially very dangerous to the children and the SWF.
  2. Ososwift, that's the one thing I forgot, lucky me friends came down and took a few if her . He also did a video which is lovely!!! My OH took a few for me on his iPhone!
  3. Am pretty sure they are. I know they are entered into a trial tomorrow, just not sure where it was
  4. Fame was scratched because she came into season after the entries were sent. Yes Jag is Grand Jaguar. They don't stay for the 'stays if they have bombed because Dyz doesn't believe that putting him in a situation where he may break and can't be corrected is in his best interests. If he's passed the rest and breaks the stays so be it, but if he's bombed already they go home. She's such a lovely person, you will have to introduce yourself to her next time
  5. I am prejudice against the 2 legged human variety, esp those who have no consideration for people who's dogs are on lead and are well behaved, whereas their dogs are unruley, unleashed and under no control and allowed to come up and harass another dog.
  6. you probably saw Dyzney there - her OH was trailiang Jag (male rottweiler) for CCD - they got a pass in the first trial yesterday

Thank you to the Dali Club who put on an awesome event, great treat bags for the dogs, lovely sash and some yummy sasuages!! Thanks also to Rebecca Sloan our judge who did a great job!! I have spoken to Anne from the GSDCV and let them know they can release my spot to someone else

  16. M, Not unless I dont pass tomorrows one. I have tried calling to let them know last night but I got no answer. Will call again tomorrow if we pass to let them know we wont be participating.
  17. Where is their new venue? Why did they change it from Altona? Is it further for you? (just curious)
  18. Thanks Sir Sniffalot!!! Good luck for you on the 25th
  19. Okay so I hedged by bets with Jett and her ridiculously short seasons and I entered her into the Dali ET as well. So today we did the vet check for soundness etc and she passed with flying colours so all going well and no sprained ankles we will be doing the ET on Saturday!!!!
  20. Yup havecwet weather pants Jett and I did 8.5kms today avg again at 13kmph, she is superfit and having a ball. The grounds were flooded today but she ran through the water without hesitating, I was soaked by the time we finished, it wasn't raining so didn't wear wet gear but the water splashing got me sweat pants and bike seat soaked.
  21. Thanks Abbiestar, I got one of those kathmandu jackets for just that purpose, nice and light but keeps you warm
  22. just goes to show Even in the world of dogs karmas a bitch
  23. We did 7.5km yesterday avg speed was 13.5km. Jett practically pulled my up the hill in my street, she's like a freight train, absolutely LOVING it. I must admit my thighs were a little sore after yesterday I am so glad that I bike her every 2 days and that today is NOT one of those days, its was near freezing here. At 11.30am it was 7 degrees outside at my house, too bloody cold to be outside. All 3 dogs are in their dog coats and are nice and toasty outside. I think this winter is gonna be a cold one.
  24. Mags, click on the link I posted and you can order it online
