  10. I used fresh goats milk on my 202gm male rottweiler puppy. He's now 11 months old. He was 1 of 14 puppies ranging from 202 - 378 grams. I sup feeded the little ones with goats milk which they LOVED. They didn't take to the biolac so they got fresh goats milk with calcium. I split the puppies into groups so that the little ones could feed first, then the larger ones came in and I sup fed the littlies. Mum didn't have a huge supply of milk either.
  11. 1.5kg of rubbish = lots of shit and nothing substantial to put weight on and keep it on. The quality of food you feed is important. (sorry haven't read past page 4 yet)
  12. I too would suggest feeding a premium dry kibbke. I highly recommend Aretmis Osopure which is what I feed my rottweilers. They get the dry kibble but also get raw meat (beef/ox cheek), vets all natural, natural yoghurt, sardines, eggs, olive oil, raw vegetables and pasta. On average my largest gets 350gm raw meat, vets all natural, raw veggies and 3 cups of Artemis. He's 45kg. My bitch gets the same but only 2 cups of dry and my 9 month old puppy gets the same with 3 cups of Med/large breed puppy. All are in excellent condition as are their coats. I am also a strong believer in goats milk. Mine get goats milk at night fo supper, it's great for their bones and also gives them more calcium. Lamb flaps, shanks or other meaty bones are given during the day for lunch. I no longer feed chicken because of all the additional hormones they are now fed, I used to feed them chicken carcus' a couple of times a week instead of the bones. Most important of all is to make sure the vet checks your dog thoroughly and does a complete blood workup on him and et him wormed. Avoid training until he's physically able, an by that I mean not underweight. Elite athletes do not train when they are emaciated neither should your dog.
  13. Hi trinaJ, if you would like me to talk to the Rottweiler Club about holding an ET, and talk to the members about competing, I would be very happy to do so. I can suggest KCC Park as a possible venue and can design a course for you. M Thx Michael for your kind offer. I will be bringing it up at our next SGM. Dawn Ayton, who is also an ET judge, is on committee and we've had ETs before, just couldn't get a venue last year. Hopefully we will get enough interest by members to hold one next year
  14. Hopefully the Rottweiler club of Victoria will hold an ET next year. We couldn't get a venue last year and they decided not to have one this year.

  18. If you've not heard back yet, try calling cryogen's, they may know the cost as they deal with them all the time and have probably been asked this question before
  19. Mine was exactly the same except my door hinged to completely open out, because the cabinet maker misunderstood me LOL - mine was 1500 x 1250 x 400 I have nice sold it as it was too small for the amou t of puppies Jett had. I had wardrobe rods as the pig rail and used kitchen laminated board (waterproof) which was easy to disinfect and keep clean.
  20. Well done to all who obtained their ET this weekend, ESP those who ran not in a million years would I run it lol Good luck to everyone this weened at Altona, hope the weather is kind to you

Maybe post your question in the Rotty Owners thread. The breeders in there will have some good advice for you. I would suggest lamb flaps, ox cheek, chicken frames. What are you feeding her currently and how much.
