Seriously over this 'ill' crap!!!! No amount of 'ill' makes you leave 2 big dogs starving to DEATH in your living room right before your very eyes. What the HELL.

So I have been walking Shyla in a Black Dog Balance harness for about a month now, and 2 days ago we were walking and suddenly the rain poured and she got drenched! The next evening I noticed her licking her chest (where the harness strap would sit, not tightly though) and got hubby to tip her on her back on his lap and I inspected and found a wet patch of skin, so I clipped the area and applied some cream to it that my vet gave me a while ago for hot spots. She jumped when I applied it so it did sting, but didn't lick it after (the cream numbs and soothes it) Can a hot spot be wet looking but NOT red? I hope its not from the harness Could the rain + harness + rubbing combo could have caused it ?

I eat a potato I soften in the microwave with skin on as a 'baked potato' with the lot and Shyla shares it with me, including peel. No harm yet!

I think the local council is in the process of building a fenced in dog park in my area (Knox) so that should be functioning in the near future!

I recently got a Black Dog Balance Harness for Shyla, its fantastic!! She doesn't pull in it and she's much more happier having a harness on rather than tension around her neck. It attaches to the front as well http://www.positivepawsdt.com.au/shop/prod...p?id_product=61 I don't know why she doesn't pull in it, she easily could, it says it teaches them to walk balanced on all 4 feet and not to rely on the leash, so far it's kinda doing that!

I know, just what the GSD world needs, another disgraceful "breeder" (NOT!) just wanting to cash in Great *sigh*

I have no words. I wish this person never got interest in the world of dogs PERIOD. She breeds cats and birds too and god knows what else, but when it comes to high drive dogs there is so much more that can and will go wrong

You're not wrong there! They even think it's the right place to go. Like the way you go to specialty stores for all sorts of other things. Little do they know, there's no specialist knowledge about dog breeds to be found there. The people with that, are the ethical, experienced registered breeders. Puppy farmers. I cannot imagine any responsible ethical breeder selling their babies to a pet store. Yup...I know a few breeder's, all registered, and reputable. None of them would even consider selling to a pet store. Guess that's the difference between an ethical breeder and some one with no ethics who is only interested in the money Oh ye, the money, stupid. U'd make a hell of a lot more by selling private. can i ask you why the pups werent sold privately? seems to me that would have been a better option for everyone. And first time dog owners are more often than not the ones that purchase from pet shops cos they don't know any better!
