I've asked Tralee, on more then one occasion, if he has ever seen these Italian dogs he fawns over in the flesh, but he has never answered. I can only conclude that everything he parrots has come off the internet. Some outlandish claims have been made about the temperament of dogs from UK and USA but again he failed to declare where he learnt such things. I second dog_fans concerns.

regardless no one knows for sure someone let your friends two dogs out and no one knows for sure who started the fight. It's sad one dog has died but that can happen in a dog fight. while I would be most upset if one of my dogs started a fight and killed another I would be less upset if they killed the other dog becuase they had been attacked. They are entitled to defend themselves what ever the size of the attacking dog.

I wouldn't even ask, both dogs and both owners at fault.

Because the person who finds the dog can ring up the owner straight away without needing to go to a vet first to get it scanned. It's more for convenience than anything. I found a BC in my front garden the other day, she had a tag and could call up her owner straight away, other wise it would of been a drive into town to the vet to be scanned. Excactly. Returned many dogs with a simple phone call. But the owners in this case did not answer the phone immediately so there still would have been a delay

How could a tag change anything? When my dogs wore tags it only gad a phone number.

I'd like to know why a neutered dog would be safer?

had them last year as well but they are a special class not one you can get points in are they not?

Neuters aren't catered for at a lot of shows, I have no problem with no neuters at Royals. One day it will come in.

I've had both come into an established house, pup and older dog. One older dog did not work out, a couple more did. All pups worked out. If you want a pup get one. If your current dog is a normal well adjusted dog it shouldn't make a scrap of difference to what you get, as long as the adult rescue is also well adjusted etc.

Nothing but it didn't stop me and now neuter class has helped get my adult daughter involved.

any way, back on topic, yes the prize for a neuter in group/show win should be the same as any other class in group/show if all classes are getting prizes. The shows we have done in SA only baby puppy, puppy ( think it was only those two )and of course BIG and RUBIG got prizes. All got ribbons. All in show classes got something as I recall. In NSW so far we have got something each time, most shows exactly the same as other classes. A couple of Neuter in Shows were not. In Vic, same as other classes in group. Have not won a Neuter in Show in Vic yet but from what I have seen the prize was the same as the other classes in show.

Plenty of titles to work towards on the other end of their names. Or change the rules and allow juniors to show any dog entered OR a neutered CH. Bit hard for my daughter to put a title on the end of the dogs names when they live 4 hours apart And I don't get what you are on about either re junior handlers :confused:

My neuter, who is not easy to show, has taught my adult daughter a lot. My neuter is the first dog they have ever exhibited.

find a butcher who minces chicken frames, don't buy pet grade mince. I never had any trouble feeding chicken necks to any of my dogs at any age, cept for the one that always threw them back up a few hours later so no necks for him. My pups have necks from about 4 weeks on.

They want to change the standard on the basis of one pup?????

depends what state you are in. Not all states offer prizes for all classes.

well it sort of depends on what the conversation went like between the two, there's quite a few different ways to interpret that sentence.

you really need to talk to the breeder of your pup before you do anything!

I love yellow collars and leads, my dogs aren't nervous.
