I would report it to the council. A few years ago,we had a small dog in our street that was forever getting out and chasing people. I gave the owners a warning after it chased me when I was riding my bike, they assured me the fence would be fixed and pleaded not to report the incident. A week later, same thing, except this time I was bitten on the ankle. Trip to Emergency Dept, lots of time off work. The owners were fined and the dog dissappeared. The next victim could easily have been a child, the dog lived across the road from a large school. I will always report such things to the council, just so the owners get a warning from the Animal ranger and keep their dogs secure.

If you want specific dogs photographed then do a proper sitting... just remember that the photographer can't be at every ring at once.

Amazing that he didn't end up more injured. Very lucky boy. I do feel sorry for the driver as it would be traumatising to deal with an event like that.

Last time we had hip scores done (we have Std Poodles) breed average was about 12. I think it has dropped to about 11 now, but would have to ask our Vet. We also have PennHip evaluation done, which is meant to be a better assessment. Also agree with buddy1, don't just look at the total score. AVA scoring can be influenced by the age a dog is X-rayed. Make sure that the breeder does other health tests, not just hips.
