Schedule doesn't specify Indoors or outside, but this time of year shows are usually indoors at KCC Park. Hope the rain stops well before the weekend or we may need a boat to get to the pavillion! Our Poodle Specialty is on Sunday at KCC Park.

The Neuter class is for desexed Main registered dogs. Judging is to the same breed standard as ordinary conformation classes. It is not a fun pet class and a dog is expected to perform the same as any other dog at the shows. Unfortunately when these classes first became eligible for points towards a title, there were a few dogs out there that were not up to standard, they were on the limited register for a reason. Most of the dogs we are seeing now are retired Champions and it is great to see some of these older quality dogs still enjoying showing. Not everyone can or chooses to keep entire dogs and Neuter classes still allow them to be exhibited. The two dogs we have shown as Neuters are both Champions, one a Grand Champion desexed because we decided not to continue with his lines.

We have done several trips to Albury for Neuter class, even when there have been shows closer to home at KCC Park or Bulla. Easter we travelled to Mt. Gambier for the same reason, these clubs also get other entries from us in regular classes.

Have you tried the Discovery Caravan Park at Carrum Downs? They allow dogs in cabins.

Well, we decided to help the clubs celebrate their 75th Anniversary and what a fantastic weekend it was for us. The grounds were great, lush grass and dry, beautiful sunny days after cold nights and the catering with all the homemade cakes! Results were even better Best in Group Intermediate in Show Saturday and Best in Show Sunday with our Standard Poodle. We also went for the Neuter class and won class in group Sunday. Thank you to everyone on commitee for such a wonderful weekend.

Normal work day tomorrow. Ill be too tired after 2hrs grooming when we get home for party time.
