  3. had the same trouble as Kelpie Hound Mum I stopped a dog owner and he pointed me in the right direction Esky had a ball, she's a cheeky little thing though. She's absolutely pooped now.
  4. I'm going to correct something mentioned earlier, it's best to have names protiens in the ingredients list. Instead of meat or meat by products which could be almost anything look for Beef or Lamb. Instead of poultry meal go for the named protien chicken meal. If you're in metro Adelaide area Pro Plan is readily stocked at Pet Stock, you'll find the Eagle Pack range there too, including the hollistic select, but sometimes they don't have very much in stock.
  5. The birdbath Photo0011 by 9114, on Flickr esky in the bird bath by 9114, on Flickr She was very proud of herself, a double whammy getting a vantage point and cooling off her butt in the water Speaking of birds
  6. My partner resuses to own a bi eyed dog. We had a chance for a beautiful black and white dog with bi eyes, but he said no, it was too 'freaky'
  7. Some dogs bounce right back from an amputation. There is a two dog team of huskies that runs down here. I was shocked when I saw one of the dogs only had one back leg He was certainly getting around fine :D
  8. KHM this was posted on the other page Sunday, 8:30am to the State Shooting Park, on Park Rd in Virginia, SA. Not sure if I'll make it. That's a long way to drive I'm used to doing long trips for dog things though. I'll have a think and let you know
  9. Gayle you should so send these shots to be made into a calender! Does the Aussie thread do its own calender like the Spitz thread does?
  10. I thought I recognised Leo and crew in there Chronic aussie thread lurker Are the rest DOLer dogs as well?
  11. Awww rotties  What a beautiful even litter. Hope there is a gem in there for you to keep
  12. There is a members market place in off topic that I buy a fair few books dvds from You'll need to wait until you make another 17 posts though as off topic is only visible to posters with 150 + posts :D Edit: I think you've got a market right here :p
  13. The thing with supercoat though, is it has a lot of filler in there, and no real quality ingredients, adding more grains in there would be too much IMO. I'll be interested to hear what the breeder says to you about the diet.
  14. I didn't like the ingredients list. Can't remember whats on it, but I remember walking away thinking eugh!
  15. You'll be in good hands if you meet Whisked Away and/ or Lyndsay. ;) Their dogs are gorgeous too. Good luck with narrowing down your breed, hopefully when you see the right breed it will just click. BTW Pedigree dogs exposed is a load of uhhh.. anyway have a watch of 'the science of dogs' I think you can probably find it on youtube still. Worth a watch for sure :D
  16. Also have a look at a walky dog or a springer. Means you don't have to hold the leash while you ride.
  17. I Know mine is fit enough, just come off a racing season :D She's fine with muzzles too. Good news, thanks for making the call Jacqui
  18. You must not lead (on a leash or any other leading device) an animal from a vehicle, including a bicycle. - From our road rules. Having said that I still go out. I used to use the path around the school oval. Now I use dirt tracks or some dirt bike paths when I go out. I generally just stay out of peoples way, and don't go during peak hour and all I get are weird looks.
  19. Do you guys just put the cot mattresses on the ground??\
