  1. Argh the nerve wracking 'on the plane' moment Hope she has a smooth journey and quarantine passes quickly for you :D If you need an updated signature once she settles, let me know - I haven't done any dog photos for ages, I need practice  Louis says thanks :)
  2. I love your Huntsman I still haven't seen one and I've been in Oz for 19 months now - perhaps we should swap places for a week
  3. Hope the surgery goes well for Gibbs :) Louis is going under the knife on Friday too He has a skin tag on his chest that is growing slowly and will be rubbed by clothes once the weather turns cooler. It should be simple enough to remove, my only concern is there isn't much spare skin under his chest, so I hope it stays closed and heals ok. And on another note Indy went for a check up on friday, and while all is looking good with her asthma (the steroids seem to be keeping it in check), she is looking a bit stiff and arthritis is suspected in her hips
  4. Oh poor Gibbs, sorry to hear that MG what does he have wrong?
  5. What an adorable pair, cute shots :D Love their faces in the second pic :)

  8. That's a shame Snook, hope you get your camera back and mended soon, and hope you feel better soon too :) Super photos everyone, I'm playing catch up as usual, so don't have time to comment on 2 weeks worth of pics  but I am keeping watch on the thread and really enjoying seeing all the postings Two pics of tiny critters from me this time round :) Week 6 - Ant Invasion! For some reason just a single flower on the lavender bush was seething with ants :) Week 7 - Juvenile Gecko - This little cutie found its way indoors, so I relocated it outside as my OH thinks they are the most revolting things around
  9. Fabulous set Huga Love 3 and 9 especially. I was just thinking the other day that I hadn't seen Lola pics for a while :D
  10. Just beautiful kja Love the Clownfish in particular :D Glad to see you back and posting your marine pics again :)
  11. I love my Canon 7D, particularly when combined with my Tamron macro lens :D I went with Canon as it felt better in my hand (my orginal 350D) and the buttons seemed more intuative. My Dad visted at christmas with his new Nikon and everything was in the wrong place  The 7D may be a bit too much for your first DSLR, but the macro lens I have is one of the cheaper ones, but I love how it performs. Price from B&H below :) http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/629846-REG/Tamron_AFG005C700_G005_SP_AF60mm_f_2_0.html Examples from the lens are in my 500px link in my signature (click and then choose macro photography)
  12. All the best for Millie Moo tomorrow RS, will be thinking of you both Hope things look brighter for you too soon ness :)

  14. Ptolomy you can't say that and not add a working pic Congratulations eta - now I see her - what a gorgeous girl :D
  15. Oh to be back in Norway now! We experienced -20 when out there, the snot freezes in your nose as soon as you step outside  So that means I have lived in countries with >60 degrees temperature difference

  18. Beautiful Kirislin, and as always a gorgeous model :D Reminds me of a greyhound at a horse yard I worked on about 20yrs ago - she always did the same thing at bramble bushes, such a delicate operation
  19. Awwww Katie hope his first day at school is heaps of fun, and that you cope ok :D Fantastic photos everyone I really don't envy those of you brave enough to do selfies - it was hard enough capturing this little guy yesterday when I was on thr right side of the camera  3/52 - I was searching the garden yesterday trying to get a last minute pic for the week, when I spotted a bunch of recently hatched praying mantis in a plant pot, however trying to get a decent pic of something a few mm's long, moving in the breeze in the WA sun was a very sweaty job indeed  Juvenile Praying Mantis by HairlessHounds, on Flickr
