  7. Oh your poor little boy It was an accident so try not to beat yourself up too much over it, easier said than done I know My OH accidentally trod on our cats leg and broke it when he was young - oh the guilt! My crestie has just had 10 days of crate rest for a leg injury, and he coped very well if that's any consolation to you. Hope the news is ok in the morning
  8. How gorgeous, what a tiny little sweetie Love the second pic
  9. Ok hands down winner  We had some friends staying with us and my then cocker came in from outside and dropped a 'stick' at the guests foot during breakfast....he reached down to pick it up and was horrified to discover it was in fact cat poo! He seemed mortified for the rest of the day, despite the fact that he also had cats and a dog
  10. Oh mirawee poor you, what a crappy couple of days so sorry to hear about your yearling Great news WX :D (although you may have to explain it in plain english for me as I have no clue about registrations etc )
  11. LOL, I am tempted from the photo op side of things......might have to work on the OH ;)
  12. How did it go with Bondi yesterday ? Hope she's doing ok Sorry to hear Gibbs has an abscess MG, poor boy Luckily in the UK our vets would put the claim in directly to the insurance company, and you just had to pay the excess up front. Quick Louis update He's out of the crate now, but that makes it hard to stop him being his usual mountain goat self and climbing on to the back of the sofa. However he seems a lot happier and is using the leg a lot more, only occasionally holding it up. He seems to self regulate and won't jump up if he's unsure. So fingers crossed he seems to be making a good recovery so far
  13. Yes you do ;) Whether we would allow two hairy labs in it though is another matter all together

  19. All the best for tomorrow boxagirl Not true ;) My boy cocker would fly through barbed wire and not even squeak if he cut himself, we'd find out by the blood later! Whereas my female greyhound would scream the house down for a stubbed toe - but that's probably a grey thing Louis is a big girls blouse though too

  23. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2061699/Pictured-The-moment-golden-retriever-bounded-sea-returned-COD.html This golden retriever really is a salty sea dog. Five-year-old Becky amazed her owner when she went bounding into the sea and returned with a catch that would make most anglers jealous - a sizeable cod. Tony Smith, 71, had been walking Becky at Minsmere Sluice, near Aldeburgh, Suffolk, when she swam out to sea. The retired painter and decorator expected his pet to return to the shore with a bit of old driftwood. But he was stunned when Becky came splashing out of the surf with her slippery victim in her jaws. The cod is estimated to weight an impressive 5lb. Mr Smith, from nearby Leiston, said that Becky sometimes catches jellyfish or picks up bits of driftwood. But until now she has never managed to nab a fish. He said: ‘Becky loves the sea and she’s always in the water. She often brings back things like jellyfish. ‘On this occasion Becky went out and came back with the fish in her mouth. ‘I always have my camera with me so I took a picture.’ she made her impressive haul Unfortunately the fish had been killed after being plucked out of the water, and couldn't be thrown back while it was still alive. He added: ‘She dropped the fish on the beach and it was dead when it hit the ground. I believe it was a cod.’ Mr Smith, who has three dogs, said Becky’s catch was extremely rare. ‘I showed the photograph to the fishermen at Sizewell and they said they had never seen anything like it,’ he added.
  24. Lovely shots Love the second one, you can just see Lobos tongue Great to see Harry looking so well :D I re-homed my two 'hunters' before moving over here - we were surrounded by fields full of mice and voles back in Scotland so would regularly find the remains of those indoors! I guess small lizards are the equivalent here....
  25. Look like you were both having a blast :D Love the ones of Pickles too
