  1. MMM, purple (Luna-tic), red, burgundy (now with a pink collar) and orange. Orange and red fly away next Thursday.
  2. So sad! Only 4 puppies left here now. Millie flew out for her new home in Qld today - she was my snuggle puppy! Waah!
  3. 63 days from ovulation. So if you weren't progesterone testing and don't know when she actually ovulated, and you had matings over a week long period then like OsoSwift said she could be due anytime in that week period. Normally if you don't prog test you would just go 63 days from the first mating as an approximate date, but with that many matings over a long period of time going by that could be pretty misleading as far as a due date goes. So, roughly anywhere from 63 days after the first mating to 63 days after the second mating, plus or minus a few days either side...
  4. They state that they breed to the NRC(A )COE, so I would say that they are registered - I doubt that a non-registered breeder would even know what the NRC(A) was. I also know the person who has done their website, and she wouldn't have done it if they weren't registered, I don't think. The breeders directories that are listed on Canine Association websites are not complete lists of all registered breeders, only listings of those breeders who have paid a fee to be listed, so not being listed on the Dogs West website certainly doesn't suggest that they aren't registered :)
  5. Spot on! :D She has the breadth of muzzle, but not quite as broad in the skull as white and orange - she is still very pretty with a lovely head, but orange and white will be more striking, which judges will like in the show ring :) In my opinion Luna has the best front feet in the litter, with the shortest and most arched toes, which is something I'm trying to improve on - so keeping the best feet is a big plus for me. She also has the best front angulation of the three girls, best upper arm length and shoulder layback. Not that the other two are poor in that area, but Luna is the best of them. She probably also has the best croup of the three. Comparatively, Orange and white have stronger headtypes and more outgoing "look at me" attitudes, both of which will be good for the showring :)
  6. What you're aiming for in the muzzle length is a 1:1.5 ratio with the skull - that's the ideal ratio of muzzle to skull. They will all be individuals and they may not all be exactly that, but that's what you want to try and get. :)
  7. Probably mid to late 2016, if I can find a dog that I want to use! That's the hard part! :)
  8. Or Nova's next litter :) (Assuming I recover from this litter before she's too old to breed again!)
  9. Hahaha - it must be a tassie thing! Luna is the one that we're keeping :)
  10. This was incredibly hard for me - I spent the first 6 weeks becoming emotionally invested in the white girl. Purple is not necessarily the puppy that you would pick if you were looking for a show dog - white and orange are those two girls, they are total show picks. Purple is smaller and with a less impressive headtype.... but beautiful body construction. In the end I had to recognise that purple best provided what we had hoped to achieve with this mating, in terms of improving what we have and giving us what we need to go on with. Both white and orange are off to show homes, whereas we will be unlikely to ever show Luna - I just don't have the heart for showing anymore - so I'm happy that those two will get to strut their stuff in the ring. In the end - I couldn't go past her overall construction, she is just what we wanted to get and what we need :)
  11. And who was it that chose purple? YOU WIN! Introducing Allerzeit Moon River AKA Luna (name pending)
  12. Here are the last lot of photos :) Blitz (brown), someone else, and Luna (purple) Millie (Black) Red and Blue Blitz (brown) Burgundy Opie (green) Shar (orange)
  13. OOer, so sorry guys! Things are so mad here at the moment, I can hardly think straight :D Does this work? https://www.facebook.com/tracie.mcintosh.7/media_set?set=a.10152920236724078.1073741832.781144077&type=1&pnref=story
  14. I would join in the intelligent conversation that's been going on, but my brain is seriously fried! 7 weeks old today, and I'm just about dead!
  15. Hahahahah - you're like me with the blue boys! I struggle to look past blue boys! Good thing we're not keeping a boy this time.... it would be the blue boy if we were! (mind you, that is also because blue boy is just stunning!)
  16. Purple is lovely and very sweet - Brown dog started humping his mum immediately after the third photo.... she didn't even notice :p
  17. Some photos with mum :) I love these - they are definitely ones that I will treasure! Nova just loves her babies, I'm so pleased with how she's been as a mother :)
  18. Girls, in order, for me are: White Burgundy Orange Purple Yellow Black Red But that is based strictly on who is the most correct for breeding on with, rather than emotional reasons like who is the cheekiest or prettiest :D The order might be different for those qualities :)
  19. Yellow is going to a pet home down here, and Red is still waiting for a home.... :p
  20. A couple more - these are the girls who didn't get good photos the other day :) Black girl Red girl Yellow girl
  21. I think that the injectable KC vaccine part needs to be redone after a couple of weeks, but the intra-nasal one doesn't, so it makes you wonder if this is what is being referred to - but even if it were, as you mentioned, this has no bearing on Parvo immunity levels, so all seems very strange.
