  1. Oh, for sure, I actually love the feisty ones :D White is a cross between sweet and naughty, with a large dose of feral thrown in, which is just about perfect for my tastes
  2. Nova was the bully in her litter :p Geez, would she bash the others up!
  3. Brown is being naughty today! We had to have a little discussion about litter bullying, and about letting go when your litter mate is screaming in pain! He's being such a little turd right now! He thinks he's pretty darn special - he's going to be a ripper of a dog :D
  4. If it helps, our current schedule is a feed from Nova first thing in the morning, at about 5am. Solid feed at 8.30am, 12.30pm and 5.30pm, with a feed from Nova at around 2pm (more to ease the pressure on her rather than to give them food), and then a last feed from Nova at 9.30 or 10pm. Nova's not with them for feeding apart from those three feeds. Mind you, different story with 10 - Nova is pretty over feeding them, so weaning is something that has to be done sooner rather than later, and they're certainly ready for it. I would think that with a smaller litter, you could leave weaning for longer if mum is happily still feeding :)
  5. Oh no - how annoying for you! These guys have been so easy on us with weaning! Our biggest problem is trying to pull Nova back so that they're hungry enough to want to eat! Some of them, purple, yellow, orange, are sometimes too full to be bothered eating their solids. Others, green and white in particular, would eat until they burst!
  6. Just had our first adventure outside - love this photo! Blue boy, I think - can't see the collar colour!
  7. A girl - no idea which one yet, although white has the upper edge at the moment :) She's not hurting her chances by being the first one to climb into my lap when I go play with them, either! Little heart-string tugging girl! She collects toys, too!
  8. Hahahah! Ahh puppies - bless 'em! They have it too good with the goat yoghurt you see, so they don't want anything else :p
  9. We started on yoghurt a couple of days ago, and onto yoghurt and soaked Advance Rehydratable yesterday - pups are taking to weaning like ducks to water, which is probably a good thing with so many of them! :D
  10. Green is the box escaper, brown is still Mr Independant Explorer. Yellow is cheeky, Orange is feisty, Red is sweet, so is Black - that's probably about all so far, but they will probably chop and change over the coming weeks too :) The strongest trait is green - if there is a pup trying to climb out of the box, it's Green every single time!
  11. Hang on VM - I'll get him for you! Yes, grumpette - it's their colours :D
  12. What do you mean by what type? Hang on, I'll post some "stacked" photos :D
  13. Nails were actually cut this morning, AFTER those photos were taken.
  14. Umm, yes - in my breed they come in black and tan, black and tan or black and tan! And pretty darn specific shapes and sizes too, for that matter! If you want a breed to look like a breed, then you follow the standard for that breed... This is such airy-fairy stuff it would be laughable if it wasn't going to attract so many people with equally airy-fairy ideas.
  15. We don't! These guys were just amazingly clean with it - I was stunned :) They lapped like they had already done it before, rather than just the normal face planting
  16. Oh, I hope so! Please tell TT line to stop being prohibitively expensive! Unfortunately, it's the cost of bringing dogs to the mainlaind makes it impossible to do at the moment. Maybe November next year.... says me who was going to come to the show November this year.... (mind you puppies put paid to that idea :p ) It's weaning time :D
