  1. Do you have Bella in a wire crate outside at night? Or is your crate a plastic closed in kennel type of crate?
  2. Yes, many years ago my first Rottweiler had a bad tooth that was beginning to abscess. Fortunately I saw it fairly early and we did try a course of antibiotics but they don't fix the problem, they just delay the final outcome. I had her tooth extracted and she had no further problems. Tooth abscesses are one of the most painful things to suffer. The pain is unbelievable. I've had a couple of them myself so if I were you I would have this tooth extracted urgently.
  3. Would that be ethical? I bet it would piss off the owners of the genuine hairless dogs. Disclaimer: I know nothing about CC's so it's a question, not an accusation.
  4. Didn't see the story but some people have to over indulge in whatever they do. Colloidal silver, like most things needs to be used in moderation.
  5. Ok not going mad or blind. I was looking at the order form for cats (not dogs) and it does list it as $30 for 50ml.
  6. Robert McDowell charges $27.50 for 500 mls. I just followed the link posted ^ and had a look on his website and he has listed Colloidal Silver Antibiotic for $30 for 50 ml. I have his site bookmarked so I'll have another look. Yes the page that comes up in my bookmark said $27.50 for 500ml....going back now to follow the other link to see if I'm going mad or blind.

  8. Robert McDowell is charging $30 for 50ml of Colloidal Silver. Before I got my generator I was paying $28.75 for 500ml from the health shop. I would suggest buying from a health store. $30 for 50ml is an outrageous price.
  9. Not sure openarms but it seems to do no harm. You could try with a very small dose and gradually build up if there are no problems.
  10. I have a colloidal silver generator. I give it to my dogs mixed with their food. I can't honestly say if it does any good or not. It hasn't prevented my Rottweiler from getting cancer.

    Angus

I'm sorry Paula. Rest In Peace Angus.
  12. I'm sorry to hear about your loss of Jessie. You're right, it never gets any easier. R.I.P. Jessie
  13. Strange coincidence indeed. Am I correct in that all these old thread were all raised by the same person?????
  14. I haven't vaccinated my dogs for a three years and back then the vaccination cost $89. My vet quoted me $65 for a microchipping so I had it done at the RSPCA with a council voucher = total cost $10 which allowed me to donate the extra that I would have given to my vet to a more deserving cause. I gave it to rescue. That made me feel a hell of a lot better than giving to the vet.
  15. That's what dogs do, they leave their calling card to let other dogs know they've been there. I always pick up after my dogs.
  16. I'm getting a bit confused too. These pups are from different litters you said in an earlier post, but I gather they are from the same breeder so this breeder had two litters at the same time? Did you get these pups from a registered breeder. If so your paperwork should tell you their date of birth. There is also a very noticeable developmental difference between and 8 week old and a 12 week old pup.
  17. I think it's something you probably need to see the vet about. Collect a specimen of his urine in a clean jar and take it with you. You can buy a specimen jar from the chemist if you have nothing suitable handy. Has this been going on all along or is it recent?
  18. Bomber, did you get these pups from registered breeders? I note you have mentioned they came from 2 different litters so I'm presuming they didn't come from the same breeder. I find it very strange indeed to hear that two breeders would vaccinate a pup twice within a couple of weeks. Would you mind posting the details of exactly what they were vaccinated against, please.
  19. Must say I've never heard of a breeder doing two vaccinations by the age of 8 weeks. How unusual
  20. I would not be taking any 8 week old baby puppy out for walks in the street, she is too young. Parvo is rife at this time of the year and your pup would have had only one vaccination. Walk the pup around your own property where she is safe.
  21. Sentinel Spectrum does, heartworm, all intestinal worm and is a flea contraceptive. If you haven't been giving it on a monthly basis you dog will need another test for heartworm before you can recommence the Sentinel. I have all my dogs, young and elderly, on Sentinel and have never had a flea or worm problem.
