  1. Found this article thought it rather funny. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2305310/Man-gets-shock-life-buys-toy-poodles-150-told-vet-actually-GIANT-RATS-pumped-steroids-look-like-dogs.html
  2. Mine figured out fairly quickly that if you stand on the window control button the window could go down, put the window up and she stood on button again. Had to put the window lock on whenever she is in the car. I have had a dog fall out the window by accident when she stood on the button luckily l had stopped at the time but made sure that windows were locked after that.
  3. It is easy to set up once you get used to it took about 2 or 3 minutes. Sets up like a light weight tent.
  4. I ordered the cabana ultra light crate on the clean run website. The frames is on the outside. Sets up like a tent. The quality of the material is good, easy set up and packs into a bag of approximately 15 inches long. Will be including 4 tent pegs to peg it down. Used it today for the first time Pirate was comfortable in it although wished l had ordered the next size up. Ordered the large he fits but the extra large would have probably been better. althoughhttp://www.cleanrun.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=3320&ParentCat=158
  5. Wondering what dog training books or novels you have on your kindle. Just downloaded the thinking dog. Reading Kathy Sdao book Plenty in life is free. Component training for Tdx. Lyndon Stacey has 2 dog books out. No holds Barred, No going back. Ellen O'Connell Rottweiler Rescue. Heap over other books.
  6. Pirate and Bonn and Di the 2 corgis are sleeping.
  7. They go home today. After the first night they have settled in and behaved themselves. Would l have them again, not sure. Two of them are on couch my dogs aren't allowed on it. Think that Pi will be happy to see them go.
  8. They have all had a bath. Now to dry them off brush them. Find the clippers and trim their faces.
  9. Well that was an interesting night. Oke spent the night barking, put them to bed in they laundry and she started to bark at the others so put her in the crate were she continued to bark for most of the night. Hopefully tonight will be quieter. Then Ollie took over and started barking so he was put in the bathroom. Got it figured out Oke is in charge then Olle is next and then comes Jett and Baby. At the moment they are quiet. Jett is timid and a bit shy Baby just goes with the flow.
  10. The really noisy one in the crate and the rest in the laundry. Peaceful at the moment.
  11. Shitz in the crate complaining pirate has settled on his mat.
  12. We have a friend's dogs staying for 3 nights whilst she is away. They are 4 shitzu looking forward to returning them already. So far they have terrorised my pointer he doesn't want to come out of the crate. The corgis are not amused they normally stand up for themselves. They are noisy lucky we are on acreage so nobody can hear them they have marked the furniture the floors. Any suggestion on what to do about the marking cause that is really annoying.
  13. I got my parcel today it was held up in quarantine because l ordered the enzyme powder which they kept as it doesn't met the quarantine the requirements. Wonder if it will appear on border security. I should have checked first before l placed the order.
  14. Not going to pay they can destroy it. But it may appear on border security will we get to see the dogs play with the toys that were ordered as well.
  15. No l didn't think to check, normally l would. Think l had a brain fade.
  16. Just received my order from Clean Run and had ordered the pro enzyme powder. Quarintine checked the parcel and have taken the enzyme powder out and want to charge 42.50 to return it back to the states. Not happy.
  17. Soon the only dog we will be allowed to own is one of the stuffed toys that come with wheels. It would please the health and safety people, low allergen, no poop, no barking and biting. Then the RSPCA would be happy they'd be out of work.
  18. Surprising how much hair it picks up. Got to find the ball the cat knocked it out of the frame and it has wandered off somewhere.
  19. It has a micro fibre mat under the frame, the ball goes into the frame and rolls around pushing the frame and it picks up the hair on the way it runs for about 90 mins every so often the kitten would knock ball out of the frame and chase it around.
  20. Bought the Sabco Robo Sweep today, charged the ball for a few hours put it on the floor and let it go picked up most of the dog hair and kept the dog and kitten amused for a while.
  21. Found this site that has a lot of info on treating diseases. http://pathwithpaws.com/blog/2011/06/25/managing-cushings-disease-in-dogs-holistically/
  22. Went out yesterday and we have been leaving Pi in the lounge and kitchen. Came home found that he had redecorated, he ate all the bread, spread barley all over the floor and added the stuffing from his bed all over the place. As soon as the bed has a pin hole in it he starts to pluck the stuffing out.
  23. Hemp seed oil can be useful for dogs that are itchy. I use it for one of the corgis for pain relief and found that it stop him from scratching his chest. It also helped keep him a bit calmer. Just make sure it is Aust. Put about a teaspoon in the food. Also can use hemp seed.
