That actually means that she had Elbow Dysplasia I believe. OCD is one of the elements of Elbow Dysplasia and means that the cartilage flap is loose in the joint. I had a boy with ED. He had arthroscopic surgery from which he recovered very quickly but was on crate rest for a month. He had the fractured coronoid processes removed and the joints cleaned out and there was some improvement. He will never move normally and will be in some pain for the rest of his life.

The 500D is coming out soon apparently. Canon won't say exactly when but they should be revealing the release date in a couple of weeks. -

I believe there is obedience training at Mitchelton. Might be run by Wagtails though. Not sure where the closest CCCQ one is. You're a member - you can give them a call -

Increasing Amount Of Puppy Food I'm Feeding Our 8 Week Old Lab
blacklabrador replied to martymonty's topic in Puppy Chat
Extra food WILL cause an overload to the digestive system and possible diarhoea. Be sensible - you've got a labrador and they are ALWAYS seeking food. They never stop wanting food even if they've just had a full meal. Please stop taking that as a sign that your dog needs more food. An overweight puppy is at risk from joint problems so you need to be very careful. It's a labrador - what did you expect? -
I saw a couple with two GSD puppies last night. I don't know if they came from the same breeder but one of these pups in particular is extremely challenging in its behaviour and these little guys are only 12 weeks old. I can't see it lasting too long. What a mess.

beautifully explained.

Don't do it. It might look cute but it's very difficult to train then when they are so attached that you can't separate them easily. They get up to twice as much naughtiness too!

I think it was bragging that she bought an alleged "purebred" for $80. Because it looks like a maltese it must be one (based on a vet's breed assessment) regardless of its parentage. Hmm interesting. ETA Rish if you have two dogs with eczema have a look at what you are feeding them. They probably have the same genetically-related sensitivities to food and that's why they both have the condition. You might need to eliminate some of what you are feeding them to figure it out.
