This is a good thread has answered a few questions for me.. I dabbled with the idea of two dogs similar age thinking more fun for them and us but it was just an idea that has now been put to bed :-) OP your a better person than I thinking about taking on 2 dogs with young children :-) , I had 4 under 4 and I was lucky to get out of my pj's by lunch time let alone take on training and keeping up with 2 dogs :-) LMAO I lost count the many times I bathed one twin twice thinking it was the other LOL what a mad house :-)

Hi guys just a question, what age can you start agility work ? I have looked in a couple of pages but I can't see an age that you start, I mean training with a club.

I got a little way into the 2nd half when she started talking about a puppy buyers enquiry who asked her about health testing of eyes, ran off some acronyms (letters) and asked about DNA testing and her reply was "I haven't got a clue what he's talking about!". Really sad.....but these are the people who breed the majority of the dogs out there. My sister lives in London and she says the pounds are overun with Staffys. So sad..

What do you normally get from the breeder? silly me I should have asked.. Is there a standard list or is everyone different?

Yes I agree I found it a bit much.. I have decided to take from books what makes sence to me and what I feel comfortable with.. With the wealth of knowledge on this board I feel very confident that any questions or concerns I have will be answered , and I will get the help/information I need from people that have so much experience :-) I don't read books like they are gospel..

That is sad.... I'm wondering with the cost of the drug to put him to sleep could they not have waved the fee? I know if they did to all owners that it wouldn't be cost effective but if you really are not that financial even a small dollar figure donation could be accepted?? So sad anyway...

I have another order in my cart I decided I need grooming tools and more kongs .. Oh and crate games I missed off my initial order annoyed at myself as I wanted to watch it in plenty of time.. Interesting how it creeps over the $100 so very easily

I often think about this, what will I do if a dog comes up that wants to have a go at my pup.. We have a lot of people walk their dogs off lead behind us, great walking track through the bush.. Interesting what other people do in this situation....
