Difference Between Getting A Puppy At 12 Weeks Versus 16 Weeks
Teebs replied to BT-Argo's topic in Puppy Chat
I got kaos at 4 months. She had never been around other dogs (other then the ones at the breeders) and had never been on a lead (the day i was there the breeder told me was the 2nd time she had been on a lead) She suffers fear aggression around other dogs while on lead. And HATES other staffords. I will, next time, be getting an 8 week old puppy!! -
Ohhh I was actually going to stab her with a knife, but already did that to me, so didnt want to do that to her
-
She popped now she isnt moving is that normal?? (BTW - that IS a joke!!!! dont want anyone to get worried!! )
-
ohhhh ok, i thought i only had to do it a few times!! BRB
-
I dunno... she did make some strange sounds though...
-
:D i just banged kaos onthe counter. I read this and thought i could??? should i take her to the vet? ETA: it was only 4 or 5 times i did it....
-
Oh dear. That doesnt sound good at all. Tap it firmly on a hard surface and you'll hear a pop. That should make it easier to open. I always do a sharp "ouch" (enough for the puppy to be startled). Puppys need to learn that human flesh is nothing like puppy flesh if you tap it till you hear a pop, wont that hurt the puppy??

Mine have beenleft longer then 11 hours - when my brother was sick and rushed to sydney i had no choice but to leave them They usually outside on their own for about 10 hours a day when i am flat out with work. I dont think i would personally get someoen in for 11 hours. but, your dog, your choice

Growl at him, push him away and ignore him everytime he does it.

Put it on her for FUN things Dinner time. If you let her inside then put it on her while she is inside. TREATS and praise!! when she has it on feed her the treats, praise her for being a good girl thankfully i have never had a problem with collars or leads.

Thanks jed, i had a look and they seem ok? I have another problem now, FLYS I had her out for 10 mins and she started to cry, flys all over it! Rung a vetnurse friend up, she said to just vet wrap it and leave it. Air can still get in, and it is better then putting creams and stuf on it
-
nope, i have now bandaged it - she has licked it sooo much, its looking yucky, prob not a good idea to have it wrapped up, but i will take it off when she is with me and i can keep an eye on her!!
-
I have some here, i put a sock on and she sulked, but now she is outside in the sun and has forgotten - i know when i had mine the worse was at nightand in the morning. Thanks anyways Want to come in and do the housework? More then welcome if you like?

She was fine once we went to bed last night, but started again this morning, i am going to go and tape a sock on to her paw

-

All i can suggest is to call the breeder and have a chat to her? My Staffy, and my brothers bulldog do the reverse sneezing thing
-

oh, ok, sorry, my bad i thought you said NOT from a breeder BYB is just as bad as apet shop. Actually, they are worse, cause they are the ones that sell dogs to pet shops.
