Just want to post this for one of my clients i have looked after Mitch, a 13 year old Mal for about 12 months. I got a phone call from the owners today, saying they need to talk to me, i had a feeling that it was to tell me this Tonight I met them while out walking - Mitch was PTS 3 weeks ago

I used supercoat, the only reason i changed is that i have a dog who has a crap coat Is the dog a chewer? Atlas went though the same thing ( ) quite a few times - He eats something and it makes him sick (such as my shoe, his bed, the remote) He has been booked in for an operation once, only to spew everything up the night before!! (thanks DOG!) Hope doggie is fine

At is fine, nothing is wrong with him Just spent the last hour trying to hump Kaos's head (i tried to explain to him that if he has to do it.. to do it the right way,but he didnt want to listen - She just sat there with a look on her face that said "hunny, can you hurry up? i have to wash my hair!") So he is going ok ;)

ohhhh - Shoeys were worse then Atlas ;) Will make her post about it (she is out at the moment!)

and how are your two?? ;) Sorry i didnt get back to you!! No one is bleeding? I cant find anything at all!! I think it might have been from last night, but no idea?? Poor cats were pinned down and checked over, as were both dogs, and i cant see anything!

Sorry! i have been at work and just got home - did SMS Suz i stalk shoemonsters - so you can blame her for not updating ;) He seems fine today, was still a bit funny this morning, but is back to normal this afternoon I just walked out the back and found blood all over the wall, and on my carpet - So now i have to hunt down whoever owns that - I just cant win at the moment!! Will keep a close eye on him, and any change i will run him to vet ASAP Thanks

no bath mats missing! Nothing would surprise me at all with him he is in his crate in my room for the night, hasnt been sick for about 40 mins - Lets see how we go for the night!

Ok, i just been outside watering the front, so left him in the back alone for a bit (actualy, i started to water and my neighbours son came over and took over - then drenched me with the hose... wait till pay back ) I went back out and he has spewed again, but seems a bit better - Still looking very skinny. I cleaned the garage out and they only have the tramp beds to lay on, no blankets - Will work soemthing out for winter when it gets here! He needs a bath badly, he rolled in the spew But that can wait till he is better He will stay in my room tonight and i will see how he goes bloody dogs

Ok, got hold of them She is worried he has something stuck - Said if he is drinking and breathing ok then to keep him here, any major change from what he is to call her ASAP any time of night - If he is the same tomorrow to bring him in He is now a bit sore around his tummy, and panting, but i am guessing that is from spewing so much - He also had a go at Kaos Am moving the crate into my bedroom so i can watch him tonight (and not get spew on my carpet!) Will take him to the vets after work if he is the same ETA: Dad is coming around a few times during the day tomorrow to see how he is and make sure he has done a poop and is drinking

yes, why? Well, i dont know if he has, but i do get a lot in the yard! What can they do?? Ringing vets again - keep going till i get them. He is still heaving I did get a wag of his tail

Ok, At has been off colour for a day or so now- Still eating and drinking, but just not happy - I came home from work and he didnt seem to happy, he came inside and sat on the floor, and DROOLED EVERYWHERE - he is NOT a drooly dog, and i have NEVER seen this much from him, even on a hot day after a long walk. I took him outside and sat with him - He has tried to vomit a few times - The first lot a bit of material came out (from his bedding) I thought that was it, but he is still going - I have felt him over and he isnt sore As you all know he eats EVERYTHING - so i dont know if he is just sick, or has gotten into something - He also did not eat his food this morning (i feed them before i go, Kaos has had all hers, but she will not touch Ats dish, there is food in there soon) I dont know if i should give him something to see if i can get him to spew, just sit and wait, or take him to the vets? Advice please!! (if anyone else posted this i would be telling them to goto the vets - But i dont think, as of yet it is worthy of a vet trip, i just wanted to chat to them, but i cant get hold of anyone!!)

Im guessing she is just doing it cause she is confused from the move - go back to toilet training and she should get it - Staffs are smart! My 20 month old bitch just peed on the floor, i took the other dog for a walk, and she went inside that will learn me for not taking her!

you can stop saying it, we ALL know, you are involved in rescue. that Does NOT make you an expert. You do NOT know everything about everything (though you like to believe you do?) Im with Shoey, Atlas was left alone from the age of 10 weeks, 9 hours a day - it only lasted 3 weeks, because i broke my foot and couldnt work - But had i not done that, then yes, he would have been left alone - He got 2 meals a day, one in the morning, one at night Kaos was 4 months when i got her and she went the same way, left alone outside, once again, had she been 8 weeks, she prob would still beoutside. I do have someone who can pop in and feed them, but then they would get used to that and expect it - I rather my dogs go into the routine they will have for their whole lives. My dogs now stay home 9 hours a day while i am working, from tomorrow till christmas it will be 11 hours a day - i have jobs to do (walking other peoples pets while they are away) They are fine, and dont rreally care if i am home or not ! Right now, i am home with them, they are both asleep on my bed. If your dog is happy and healthy then who cares? Not everyone can come home every few hours to check on a dog - and any dog can get sick and die in a few hours, not only puppies.

Kaos is no longer licking my feet, she might clean up after Atlas
