I have a great vet who im realy happy with, she does a lot of natural therapies, like accupuncture and things, as well as the normal vet stuff. She is great. Axle (my big boy) had injured his leg, and it cost me about $500 in vet bills with my previous vet,and the problem kept comming back every few months . Then I found this lady and she fixed him with 2 sessions of accupuncture which were like $60 each, and he hasnt had a problem since. She is fantastic, freaks me out sometimes she tells me buffy can understand everything I say!!lol Staffys ARE people, of course they can understand everything you say!! Kaos talks to me, i ask her a question and she grunts or barks at me

That is what i thought TJ lol Glad to see you are doing something to help her I would take her to the vet, get the tests done and work out a plan of attack after she is a cutie!!

Keep us updated !! and do we get a photo of her? ;)

My god!! I cant keep the weight on my Staffy!! She NEVER stops, and is the same as every other Staffy i have known! I would go get the test done - my last Staf had Thyroid problems and he just had a tablet a day, i dont think it cost us too much! My girl is about 16kgs at last weigh in, she is soooo skinny! (i woudlnt mind her figure!!)

ohhhhh Im an idiot!!! I did a poop scoop today and there wasnt as much as normal - didnt think anything of it till you said that!! Ok, is there anything i can give her to help her a bit? or let let her go and let nature happen?? (off to ebay to find some gas masks)

Mince and pedigree (i know - but they have been on it for years, and i aint changing) they get charcol treats to help stop the farting - but since last night she has gone feral!!

Ok, Atlas is the stinky dog in my house, always silent killers Yesterday afternoon Kaos started farting, LOUD ones (i took her over to my new neighbour to meet... she told me how sweet she is.. then Kaos started letting them rip ) anyway, this has been goin on for 24 hours, no change in anything. Still eating the same food, same exercize.. I need some ideas before she gasses us all

Atlas Every week - Has to be washed for Delta (i hate it ) Kaos has had 2 'real' baths - Ones at in a hydrobath when i firsst got her - jusst so she could check it all out - and once beacuse she stunk !! She normally jumps in and out of the bath with atlas - and plays in water all day!!

hmm. no, i went and had a look (no camera - im an idiot!) It looks like the fur has just fallen out - smooth skin - with a few little red patches - it is annoying her and she is trying to chew it Any ideas?

Has anyone have a photo of a hot spot i can see? Someone has asked me what they look like and i have never seen one!! thanks guys

Finally!! I got a card off them - We were reading it and saw the list of animals - We were wondering how a dog got the name H - Now please tell me so i can let the girls at obedience know!!! My boy is Zues, and my friends dogs are Miss Conner and Taya - all 3 are on the card (the card he sent out was dogs from our obedience club)

I use Pets a Peace in Orange - Shane is fantastic I do pet sitting and he told me that if anything ever happens to the pets i am looking after - he will look after them until the owners come home and deside what to be done We got our old boy done through them - can not give them any more praise if i tried!! Fantastic, wonderfull people - When Shane brought my boy home he spent 30 mins on the floor playing with my cats, they LOVED him. It is good to have someone you like looking after your last wishes for you babies

I have my boy here - i didnt think it would feel so right to have his ashes back home - A friend of mine does PEts at Peace and rung me saying he was home - and came and dropped him over.. I was so releaved to have him back We got a little wodden box wth half his ashes in - mum wanted him in the garden.. i got a urn with the rest.. he is sitting in my loungeroom with me

That is the stuff!! Yuckyyyyyy (would also like to say tha ti have tried Metaderm?? (SP) Atlas was on it and hated it.. i didnt think it could be that bad!! After a taste i put it in the bin.. it was so horrible!!)

Cant remember the name - you can get it at the vet or at a good petshop (that doenst sell pets :D ) And its yucky... I tried it just to see how bad it was :cool: I was heaving for about an hour :rolleyes:

Aloe Vera? Can you use the plant?? dad said he has some in the back yard and has never known what to do with it!??

We are sure it is a grass allergy - He has not had a change of food or anything Vet has cut foot open and there is nothing in there will try the other options thanks guys!

Dads bulldog has been at the vet AGAIN He usually gets big red lumps beween his toes this time of year... this year his who front paw is affected - he wont but any weight - He is on meds fromthe vets and some medical wash - is there anything else i can try? I have been told that Cider vineger might help?? Poor boy is not happy
