  1. Im going to give it a go - i like that there is one for skin problems, might save me a bit money wise with the vet bills i get with atlas from time to time!! If not, i will look into the others pedigree Pro makes kaos fart - tried it once, had to wear gas masks inside
  2. Thanks Pix Atlas does have skin problems, as does dads bulldog (and i say, that being a bulldog, my brothers dog will be the same!) The bulldogs are currently on Pal (i know.. dad thinks the dog smells because he is abulldog.. has nothing to do with what he is feeding him ) and i want to get them all onto something good. I still have my bag of supercoat the DOLers gave me, i just started that, might go and get a small bag and mix it in and see how we go.
  3. Ok I use Supercoat. Why? Because my dogs dont fart, they are both healthy and happy. I know excatly how much to feed them so i dont have to mess around with food. I was talking to a lady at a shop and she wont be stocking supercoat anymore, but told me about Nutrience (is that the brand you are talking about when you say Nutro?) How good is it? How hard is it going to be for me to swap over (whats the best way - feed them the recommened amount and just make sure they dont put weight on or lose any? ) and most of all, what sort do i get?? She said there is 'normal' than there is holistic? Im sorry, i am just so dumb when it comes to food! And is it WORTH it? I cant afford to spend lots of $$$$ on dog food. thanks guys
  4. YEp, i had a bean bag death - 3 years later and i still find the beans!! Easy way of stoping them chewing when you arent there, dont allow them to have access to that part of the house . Atlas gets no freedom in the house. He can only stay where i can see him. Kaos (if i could get this pooing in the middle of the night thing worked out) woudl have full run of the house. She killed my mobile phone and a remot when i first got her, but she doenst chew anything but her toys now

    Woohoo

Atlas was so easy to toilet train, if he is out of the crate he will wake me up to go out, but her, she drove me mad!
  6. Teebs

    Woohoo

I have been having some trouble with Kaos and toilet training, if i let her have run of the house at night she will poo.. so i crate her (she is 18 months old) Well, i gave her a chance last night.. and no one poopy anywhere!! Wont give her 2 nights in a row, but one is better than nothing!
  7. He wont just chew it - he will eat it.. all of it :D
  8. I annoy my vets - any time the 4 of mine (2 dogs 2 cats) are in, i get the chip checked
  9. Best of luck :D If he is too much trouble i will send Atlas over - after you see what he chews in a week you wont be worried about yout dog!!
  10. Just check when you take them to the vets for any reason to get them to check that the chip is still in the right spot
  11. Rather a dog that is alive and in the pound then dead hanging on my back fence..
  12. No way i would leave a colar on a dog while unattended - Too scared they will get stuck while playing and could kill one of the dogs - or they might jump the fence and get stuck. RAther leave them naked while at home!
  13. I ended up changing my feeding time as well, if i fed the dogs at night they would ALWAYS have to goto the loo - i started feeding in the morning and they both sleep through the night (99% of the time!) Mine are crated from about 7pm till about 5 am (not my choice, they put themselves to bed at 7 and wont come out again!) So they go all that time without water, they are fine! Mine also have run of the yard during the day (unless i am home and they are in with me) so they can drink as much as they want to !
  14. Kaos takes my socks off. i should teach her that!
  15. ARGH!! dont tell me that :D
  16. I have one of each (im crazy, i know!) I have given up with the bully, he only learns what he wants to learn! he is happy so i let him be now  it is the Staffy i am teaching. She is so smart, things just click with her (on our own, she sees other people and gets too excited and wont do a damn thing i tell her!) so i thought this would be a good trick to learn. It was me who was at a loss on how to teach it
  17. No, if one toy is missing she will follow me around crying, she knows how many there should be!! I dont expect her to do it without command, i would just like to have a word i can say to get her to do it!
  18. thanks, i knew it would be something pretty easy, i just couldnt get my head around it lol She knows give, or Ta, so will brush up on that then take it the next step. So sick of steppin on toys!!
  19. Hey guys, i have no idea how to teach this, or if possible. Kaos has a toy box, everynight she gets all her toys out and plays with them. Is there any way i can teach her to put them back? No idea where to start with this one!!
  20. 12 years? no one can stop at one dog :p Wait til this one is trained and you will think "oh... she would like a friend.." then you will be as mad as all of us!
  21. Atlas will wake me up if he has to goto the loo, usually around 5am (the reason i am awake so early now!!) he will then go into bed and sleep till i get up (doesnt matter what time !!) Kaos will get up about 5ish as well... and that is it. She now usually goes into the lounge room and pulls ALL her toy sout of the toybox and makes a mess, but atleast i get to sleep: Mine mainly get up so early because i usually wake up at 5am to goto work, but they havent learnt that when i am not working they are allowed to sleep in!!
  22. 10 weeks old? What is it with people who think that their PUPPIES should be completly trained at only a few months old? Kaos is 17 months old and once in a while will still go inside. Puppies are puppies!!! You dont expect a5 month old baby to be toilet trained, so why a pup?
