  2. Oh this is just to embarass Midol......
  3. Im with BL.....house is usually full of gass by the end of the day. Mine actually eat the whole knuckle at each end continuously till its gone....Ruger might bury his for a minute but the paranoia kicks in that fly will steal it (he is correct to be paranoid) and eats it dirt and all. Personally i cant stand the bone dropping on concrete sound all night and the gas...
  4. Thats great news glad to hear it. Yes post photos whenever you get a chance! dont forget the pointer pic thread.
  5. Hmmmmm, the wingeing, just dont pander to them, stop them from the word go, Ahhhhh! or something like that...most of them are really quick learners
  6. Be sure to visit the Pointer thread in PHotos, you will see lots there. Sorry about your pup, HOD has been around forever, mostly in larger breeds. It is thought to be casued by bacterial infection or a diet that is too high in protein. But it does sound painful, i hope he gets better soon. That vet bill is massive!!
  7. Ahhh, im sure you will get there.
  8. sounds like he is going through masculanisation. Difficult puberty stage

  11. the fences are harmless to the dogs, just scares the crap out of them ;) and you if you walk into it. Feels kinda like someone hitting you.
  12. I have had the exact same situation happen in my other house. But I had two GSP's spurring each other on. They put a dam rabbit near the fence, or let it loose around the backyard. We only had the pailing fence, so they could see it right through the gaps, and also smell it i guess. To stop them knocking down the fence and jumping on it, I put a lenghth of electric fencing up along that side, a few zaps and no more fence juming. They couldnt get near enough to see much either. Also eventually they lost a bit of interest in it. You could try this, not too expensive either, a portable strip grazer battery opperated thingo plus some stick in poles and tape would cost you not quite 200 bucks. It will come in very handy for other things too. You could also ask the neighbours if there is any chance they could move it. Sorry you have this problem.
  13. I knew another girl beagle that humped but it was for attention or food. She is probably trying to scratch her belly or stitches too.
  14. Yep....pups breathe irregularly sometimes mostly quite fast. you will find pups tend to tuck their neck in and under, like squishing their airway. causes a bit of snoring! Fussy eaters are a pain, dont give in!
  15. hrm....too young for lumps and bumps yet....google as much as you can about moles, but curiosity would get the better of me, probably go to the vet when you can.
  16. sounds a bit like neuro toxicity. can you video her for us? post a link to u tube or something?
