  4. I was with you while you meowed your last meow and took your last breath. Thank you for coming back home to me for your last evening and day. We enjoyed having you in our family and part of our lives even for that short time and glad you spent it with us rather than anywhere else. You really gave it your best little fellow. We all wanted to give you a fair chance, but alas... RIP Jr. :p ETA 2nd pic of beautiful Jr.
  5. Because I couldn't authorise pts vet delivered him to me for the night. Here I had alreay thought he was gone. So I basically fed him and watched him closely. He's better but still not 100%. Vet will call me later and we'll go from there. Like I said, it's all circumstances playing out weirdly. Maybe the moons are lined up for this little guy????
  6. Not so weird. He was a fighter to the very end and we were all giving him the best chance we could. Okay, I feel really stupid, but more weird. This kitten wasn't pts like I was informed he would be. It's a soap opera in its own rights. Jr is currently right next to be snoozing away after snacking on some chicken/ He's breathing is much better, but he is very sick. It's all very weird indeed. Ed- typos and add first two lines
  7. RIP Jr. , not a puppy nor a dog, rather a tiny 4-5 week old rescue kitten. You never had a chance you poor, poor soul. Tears are shed for knowing you for just over 48 hours. RIP Jr. Chase all the little rays of sunshine to sprinkle and scatter them around on those below you. RIP Jr.
  8. An online friend from back home (US of A) lost her rough collie, Duke this week. This is Duke and his very sorrowful Duchess. I have her permission to do this. She's remembering the good times with Duke and relayed a story about Duke racing his human father. Human father was winning, so Duke reached forward and grabbed his shorts pocket, ripping it off. Heh, heh, heh. RIP Duke. ETA- Duke is on the right.
  9. RIP Bluey! So Sorry for your loss.
  10. He looks so much better Imy. You're a good mum and dhe obviously loves you for it. The things we do for our beloved 4 legged family, eh! Good on you, you must feel so relieved, knowing he's alright.

... and that's where she is, at the end of the rainbow in the glint of the sun's rays shining upon her beautiful face and what a beautiful face she has.Rusky she knows she was loved. Thanks you for rescuing her and sharing your love to yet another beautiful soul.
  12. That's beautiful Malinda. Sounds like Bandit touched your soul, and you his. RIP, Bandit.
  13. I have no constructive advice, just oodles of admiration. He is a good-looking, happy-looking dog. Maybe he's got attitude with the good looks!
  14. Oh I have a smile from ear to ear, all for your dog, your family and you. What a great relief!
  15. Oh dear Cass. Maybe it was a spider, who knows. Please, please, please take care.
  16. That is so devastating! And more horribel if he was posoined. Look for everything that he could have digested, everywhere he's been. Please take care. My sincerest sympathies are with you. I am so, so very sorry.
  17. This is David and also to Jodi Thinking of you and your dear doggie family members and all of your family, too.
  18. It sounds all too familiar. If in doubt, can you take her back to vet? Animals tend to just get quite lethargic and find a quite spot away from everyone. They know.
  19. Hi David, This is heartbreaking news and it is so sad to hear. It brings back of flood of memories. it sounds like this darling kelpie is 'the one' for you. For that I am so sorry. The kelpie has obviously touched your soul and will be forever with you. At the present, the dog is still here, in the backyard. I think the change is that you have started the grieving process, already. Your pup is still here and still needs you, probably more than ever. Keep going into the backyard, as you are and give the dog the best of you that you can, as I am sure the dog is for you. Try the suggestions the other DOLers have suggested, too, who knows, maybe your buddy can be with you for many more years to come. Best wishes and thinking of you and your dog.
  20. Sincerest symapthies for you. So sorry.
  21. Sincerest sympathies. Thinking of you.
  22. Hi! I just checked out your site. Any chance one of the dogs you took from the backyard puppy breeders would adjust to small children? I have the Cav King Charles Spaniel or one of the Westies in mind on this one. Let me know. I can handle the truth. By the way, I tried to PM you but your inbox is overflowing, couldn't get through. You're a popular girl!
  23. OMG! ;) I am in another world. I need to learn this new language. i am so out of my depth! Thanks, Amhailte! I have to go find a dictionary, now.
