  1. Thank you everybody for the replies. I have a few Oztrail Deluxe 3 x 3's and I can put those up by myself. I was after opinions about the Compact Canopy as it will take up less space length wise and therefore would fit across the back seat of my Ford Wagon, unlike the Oztrail which has to go on an angle to fit. Also I don't want to purchase one if it is hard / difficult to put up and down by myself, hence why I asked the question as they are currently on sale and are very reasonable in cost. I will have a look about tomorrow at Bulla and see if I can find any and ask the owners what they think. It will be interesting to see. Please keep the responses coming. Thank you. ;)
  2. Hi Everybody, I am hoping that those that have a Compact Canopy can tell me the pros and cons with them. I like the fact they fit in a boot with ease so therefore take up less room and they expand out to a 3 x 3. I am thinking about purchasing one but would like to hear from others who have them their thoughts. I look forward to hearing your opinions, experiences and responses. Thank you.
  3. It is nothing really unless it changed over night. You just have to slow to 80 past the airport but last night they were removing the barriers so it could be back to normal. That is good to hear, thank you Evolving.
  4. It is a total of 30 including all spaces.
  5. I read some where that there is possible road works along the Tulla section of road, so those travelling through there need to be aware.
  6. Hey I do it all the time so I know you will be fine.
  7. No Sunday numbers, I have now put my receipt in my bag so that I can claim my numbers and catalogue for Sunday. It is the first time I have used the online entry, not sure if I will use it again . The comments about not getting the numbers mailed is a worry when you do pay for it. Looks like I along with many others will be queing up for numbers as well as the catalogue. No doubt the Show Secretary will be very busy both days dealing with the many who haven't got their numbers.
  8. I only have Saturday numbers, so I hope the mail man brings Sundays in the mail tommorrow. Super raffle prize Sway, I will buy some tickets for that , which day will it be drawn????
  9. Very cool! The pups will have fun with that, you will have to post some pictures when you use it. ;)
  10. CC and Evolving thank you for posting the numbers. I am in the NE suburbs of Melbourne and still numbers. I did the entries online, I hope the mail man delivers them tommorrow. Thank you Sway for posting the ring layout.
  11. I hope the numbers show up today. Gumnut, could you please post the numbers for the shows please, while the rest of us wait on our numbers. ;)
  12. Thank you capanash for the information, it is greatly appreciated.
  13. Looks like you to have had plenty of views but no replies??????
  14. Over 50 views of the post and not one reply ????? Has anybody got any recommendations for Wangaratta?????
  15. You would also have to think about if you can put it up and down by yourself. As well as getting it to the shows along with all the other stuff we take with us these days. If you are by yourself with a dog or two a Compact 2.4 x 2.4 will be big enough or you could go a 3 x 3 and have more room, but the main thing is you can transport it and put it up and down by yourself.
  16. I am after recommendations for accomodation in Wangaratta. Thank you in advance.
  17. Super great for the pups to play in, a big hit here and have been for many past litters! I do get the kids tunnels as they are bigger and better suited for my breed.
  18. What a great family they are for making up the ramp! I find that the majoroty of inquiries are geniune, it is sad though that the few do leave a sour taste in your mouth. I think the real hard part is selecting the best homes that you can find for your pups, it takes time to weed through the inquiries and some doon't take much time as they get a flat no after a few minutes.
  19. Bones are introduced at 3 weeks of age for the pups to get a taste of them, they tend to suck on them at this age but soon learn what they need to do with them over the week.
  20. I would like to thank and congratulate the hard working Committee of these shows. I believe that this committee consists of six (6) very hard workers. I also believe that 2 weeks prior to this show the club did not have a venue for these shows and did extremely well to secure the venue. So on behalf of all the thankful exhibitors, a big thank you to each and every hard working Committee member for putting on this show and allowing us the opportunity of exhibiting at this show and enjoying the great country atmosphere, you all deserve a round of applause. On a major down side it is bloody shamefull to see people who refuse to clean up after their dogs, you know who you are and I hope in the near future a rule is applied across all states that if you fail to clean up after your dog that you will be refused the right to exhibit at the show..........maybe then you might just pick up after your dogs because that will be the only way you will have the opportunity to continue to exhibit. Seriously, those few bring us all down and I am getting damn annoyed at the bad attitudes that exist within a few bad apples........
  21. Congratulations to all the winners and grinners.
  22. Opps I must of got it wrong, way to many shows to keep track of them all...... I remember that one show was mud, mud and more mud! I just had a look at the weather forecast, the forecast is getting cooler overnight each time I have a look.
