I think that a lot of them upgrade every year or so for tax reasons... try asking around. Mine are used, but have been very well looked after and I'm very happy with them. They are Andis. Excellent service. I had trouble with a blade I bought (can happen anywhere) and he was on the phone, when I couldn't fix it (dufus here), he fixed it and serviced my clippers for the price of one way post only :D Turnaround was a total of 4 days (post to him AND back!).
