Today we had to say goodbye to our gorgeous gentleman Zac aka Ch Korella Mystic Legend CD ET HIC.

Zac was diagnosed with osteosarcoma just over 4 weeks ago so to have had him for those extra 4 weeks has been a blessing for us.

Zac came to us from Korella Border Collies thanks to Gloria White driving him down from Wagga Wagga. He was the most gorgeous fluffy puppy i had ever seen. He was a huge cuddler and was so laid back and gentle. Traits he continued on with throughout his life.

Thank you to his breeders Ross and Sigrid from the bottom of our hearts for the life you entrusted into our care. He was a wonderful tribute to his mum Gabby and his dad Hudson.

Zac was a clown at the best of times. He loved the girls and he loved other people and any attention he could get. Zac gave me many special moments in the obedience ring when he decided that something over there was interesting or someone over there looked more fun than me. He lagged but he always came up and did what ever hand signal had been given. Thanks Yildiz for all the help you gave us in getting Zac through to his title.

As for tracking well Zac had a mind of his own there too. He managed his pre trial track and his Track 1 and as for that elusive track 2 it was not to be. He tried but he just wouldn't be a part of it. But there was nothing like his "slam dunk" at the end of the track that he could throw in the air with great gusto and let it drop to the ground to hear it make the silly noises he loved. Then when he had had enough he would crush it and that was the end of the noise.

In the Show ring Zac was a multi in group award winner. An older style gentleman with a penchant for flying his tail at times. He loved to tell everyone how special he was by barking before he went in the ring. He floated on the end of the lead with his clean movement. Thanks to Hussy and Karrin for helping to show him over his time in the ring.

Zac loved to be with the girls and it was nothing for him to scale 7 foot fences to be where they were. He loved to dance and prance and court his girls as if they were the one and only love of his life.

When we moved to our new property Zac disappeared for a week. We thought we had lost him for ever then. But back he came 6 days later looking none the worse for wear and definitely not starving. He settled in and was back to his fence jumping soon after. He would head down to our front dam and spend hours in the water barking at dragon flies and just swimming around and around.

Zac lives on in his progeny not only through the Wylie prefix but also through Mystiqview, Jazippy, Beauglen, Hotnote, Hotlee, Robatife and Elindanjah. His progeny all show his softness and gentleness and his zest for life.

Zac now lays to rest overlooking his favorite dam where he can continue to watch the dragonflies zip around the water.

Thank you Ross for all the support over the last few weeks. It has been a privilege and an honour owning Zac throughout his life time. He has given us so much love and so many memories which we will hold for ever in our hearts.

Rest easy my gorgeous man you are no longer in pain. We will miss you so very much.
