darwinroyal Posted July 26, 2010 Share Posted July 26, 2010 It’s always hard to remember everyone with thank yous One idea we trialled last year and did again this year I stole from watching the Hobart Royal – we had the BIG and RUIG winners run around together before lining up the BIS line-up. When I saw it in Hobart it was one of those “light-bulb” moments. Potentially only one of the RUIG winners gets another run around, however this way getting the dog and handler looking fantastic is worthwhile. Shunji Yamamoto, our judge – a lovely BIS line-up – Pug – Jack Russell Terrier – Golden Retriever – Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired) – Australian Shepherd – Dobermann – French Bulldog. My stewards – the best, and I love them. In particular Ring Steward Alison. Our loss is Tasmania’s gain. As I said on Saturday night, I am going to miss you so much. Diane takes care of our Hospitality Tent, and she also cooks some wonderful food for our post-Show supper under the big tent. Guru Groundsman Greg – the man that has our grounds looking absolutely fantastic. SWAY!! Number cards were one thing, but the pens were incredibly popular – huge thank you to whelpingsupplies.com.au Hopefully I will have the Trial results and be able to publish a full marked catalogue by the end of the week. Most importantly, thank you to the exhibitors, particularly the newbies and the interstaters that keep coming back.
