We just went for a walk around the block and might give Ivy a brush now but about that they've been outside as I've been out.

They have both been lucky this last week with me off work so they need to get used to being left outside again!

Tomorrow MIGHT go to the beach or out to my parents house to play with their Pointer. They have a bush track near their place, so will probably do that and take them on a good walk. Can't wait until Badger can go for long walks.

The boyfriend, Charlie, Emmy and I went to have a picnic at Pyrmont... where we met another Japanese Spitz and Emmy and the puppy had an awesome time playing together. Charlie had a great time exploring the new park he has never been before... he loved it.

They are both sleeping right now... Charlie in his day bed and Emmy is sleeping between Ducky and Mr Hippo (their huge stuff toys that's as big as them!)

We set off at 8am and although I wanted to head for coffee on this lovely Sydney winter morning, I did go straight to Centennial park. It was lovely to stand in the sun with lots of doggies romping about, and Tonka had a ball playing fetch...and running around. Then I went for coffee and the paper, and he has spent the afternoon watching me change lightbulbs (finally, hallelujah), clean the place, and snuggle up on the lounge in the doona while I was on the computer.

Tomorrow we go first thing to the top of the street to watch the first runners in city to surf run past. It's so exciting

Yep we had Flyball training with the 3 younger dogs (and my Mums little dog) and we actually got to go as i was not at work :D. The dogs had a ball. Then i came home and took my old girl Clover to the park for a romp and wander, which she enjoyed very much.

Tomorrow i am planning on taking them out bush for a huge run, they love going Rabbiting and getting to act like real dogs .

Today being Sunday and nice and sunny, we have already had 1.5 hrs at the "controlled" dog park early this morning, which was very nice, and I'm about to take one of mine to my son's rugby match, and we will do some training and mixing with the other people and dogs, then I will take my other one out this afternoon for a 1-2 hr hike on lead, which we both love. Then it is back home to finish off the housework/laundry and a sleep on the lounge sounds very nice indeed!!

Happy birthday Orbit!

Yesterday was a non-event for my furry monster as I had to unexpectedly take a friend's dog to the vet then stayed with her at their place until they arrived home. Got home late last night so we were playing until the early hours this morning. Both had a good sleep in, then Billie "helped" me read the paper in bed (must vacuum up later). She is outside in the sun with an iceblock now. We have a dog friend coming over for the afternoon then OH is due in early this evening so I'll take Billie on the airport run. Lamb shanks all around for dinner...ours in the slow cooker now and Billie's in the fridge. I bought a hide-a-squirrel earlier this week so that will debut at some point. Looking forward to 2 show holidays this week.

It was a gorgeous sunny day here, though still a bit fresh but unfortunately I woke up feeling like I'd been hit by a mack truck in the form of a cold/flu so the furry's have had to amuse themselves outside, sunbaking and the like. What a waste would have loved to have done something more productive with them today.

Today we are bathing and preening, ready for the 2 week visit from my dog's best mate BJ. His humans are off to the Gold Coast for a holiday so Zedley has the pleasure of the company of his best friend BJ, the yellow Labrador. These two are the best of mates ( wish they would clean up the yellow hairs before BJ goes back home :o ). Bj came last year for 5 weeks whilst his humans went off to Europe. They leave me his m/chip papers, we use the same vet and they leave me a blank cheque for 'just in case', and their mobile number. They also provide all of his BARF ready packed and frozen. Great arrangement for socialisation and mateship

We went to my daughters sports day today. It was held at Centenary Lakes, which is a big garden/park/sport complex on the river. My son rode his bike around the lakes while Banjo walked with me, fed ducks while Banjo managed not to chase them, and played on the exercise equipement while Banjo and I did some obedience work.

Then we headed over to the oval the kids were competeing on and he got millions of kiddie pats and watched the kids play and a few other dogs with their owners. He was such a good boy. I kept shovelling in the bacon, luncheon and chicken while the kids patted him till he had had so many pats he found the kids less exciting and could be good without me feeding him. Then the kids took turns in getting him to perform sits, rolls and drops for kibble.

It was just what I needed today to feel better about his behaviour. :)
