haylz27 Posted August 7, 2010 Share Posted August 7, 2010 Today looks like it's going to be a nice day and I would be out taking Indi for a walk and working on a bit of training but we have to go out. ;) Are you going to do anything with your dogs today? Training, walks, ect. Or are they just going to be sitting around lazing in the sun like my two? If you're not doing anything with them what are you plans for the weekend? My dogs plans are to lay about the lounge as near to the fire as they can get. Go out to toilet when I make them My plans are to brush them all & bath & clip 2 of them today. PRADA68 Posted August 7, 2010 Share Posted August 7, 2010 My lot have been playing in the sunshine it is cold here but we have sunshine so we are going to go for a drive later to the supermarket they have had a brush and fed. So later in the afternoon we will be cooking a casserole for dinner and watching the TV in the warm lounge with the heater. I'm about to take them out to the park for a run around. Then, the lucky ducks, are both getting a bath because they stink We have visitors coming tonight to stay for a few days so the doggies will be sooooo happy when they arrive. rastus_froggy Posted August 7, 2010 Share Posted August 7, 2010 I have just come home from netball so now I will write and email off 2 netball reports to the paper, then I will get out my bike and take Froggy for a run to the shop and back to get the papers, read the papers then take Stimpy and Chevy for a walk. Later on they will all go for a walk together to the park. It's a beautiful sunny day here and I think it has reached 10 degrees so this is a scorcher compared to the temps lately!! Shelby Posted August 7, 2010 Share Posted August 7, 2010 I have had one of my puppies new parents fly in from Adelaide to meet him and then I will take them & him back to the airport for their flight home. The rest of the babies are playing in the sun with their mum. Tomorrow, my older boy Connor and I will be going to the Dogs Day Out at Clontarf and will be on the Dogs NSW stand. I am going outside now to cut back some trees (with Bella's help of course), and then I think I will take her to the local doggy beach for a run around and a bit of socialising. Posted August 7, 2010 Share Posted August 7, 2010 Well this morning I had a surprise visit from my mum who was passing through, so we walked down the street and had some morning tea at a little cafe and Lottie came along. Then me and my flatmate just took the dogs for a BIG run through the fields - now we're just lounging around, but will take her out for another walk, maybe a little swim later - i'm going out tonight, then going to the Ekka tomorrow, so she won't be doing much then, hehe. Have visitors with a Dally, so said Dally & 2x Salukis are socialising outside atm, Kelpie (who doesn't get along with Saluki bitch ) will go out for a play with Dally later. JRT-X and Dally just been for a walk with their respective "dads" and old TTs x2 laying in front of the fire. Dog school for 2x Salukis + 1x JRT-X tomorrow, then perhaps a short bike ride with Salukis and a ball throwing game with Kelpie (in season, so no beach visit or school this week for her...) I am inside freezing my butt off while I do the dishes, washing and trying to clean up the house a little bit. Doggies had a little tug game in the small oval sandwiched between two footy games and then we walked around the bush for a bit. Tomorrow the tides should be right for a visit to one of my favourite places on the river. In winter it's strictly low tide only. In summer it's a nice place to swim at high tide.
