If I can drag my butt outta bed early enough on Sat I might join you guys at Riverside, but what time?

I managed to drag myself out of bed Monday morning at 6am  VOLUNTARILY  and took the dogs for a walk before work. It was lovely and also my first time walking the dogs around my area since moving in. I live like 2 streets away from the river and a pathway that runs along it with loads of green grass for offlead romps (and training :o) so will have to make more of an effort to do it more often. Not a chance in hell this morning though, sooooooo tiiiiiiired after the previous morning where I was in bed 1.30am and up at 6!

Admittedly I've only ever been there from about 10am onwards.

I giggled at the part about Dougall and the BBQs

You may well laugh :laugh::)

RS, I have been walking Dougal at 6am lately and it is hom=nestly the nicest part of the year to walk in the monrings - not too cold and not too warm.

I do NOT enjoy getting out of my bed no matter the time of day so I figure I have to drag my sorry *rse out sometime, may as well be 6am!

I'll be forced to do it anyway in a few weeks time ...

So Riverside - say 9.30? Joelle - can you still come??!!

That is what I figure, too, but that train of thought doesn't always win the end! My lazy side doesn't want to understand that logic!

I am going to attempt it again tomorrow :) It's the best time of the day, the morning, I just don't get to see it too often cos my bed is too cozy! And the walk was nice and peaceful especially the route I take, nice and serene, and only passed one couple and their small dog. Looked like Trixie, but smaller!!

When do I get to meet Paddy by the way? After my dream last night about getting his litter brother (), I really wanna meet this little guy ASAP!

Well I don't know when he'll be down on the ground.

Will have to check with the breeders about the vaccination regime they go with but I will probably buck the rules a little and get him socialised (selectively) from after his second vaccination.

I have talked to other breeders who do the same thing and they say it's a balance between getting that early socialisation which they feel is so important and protecting the puppy from parvo etc.

Mason had his second vaccination at 10 weeks ( think it was a C5) it was a new one in that you dont have to have them vaccinated again until 12 months later, that way he was being socialized from 12 weeks...it worked out well. Some people recon 10 weeks is too early for them to retain the immunity but just had titre tests done and he is all covered so there goes that myth....

Whereabouts in Riverside? Kate could use a girls morning out - Duke has been pretty full on (alpha rolling her this morning), so some time away from him could be nice.

ChristineX

Near the river I guess?

I think I will be coming dogless because managing two is going to give me a headache and my family is away so I can't leave one by itself.

does anyone know which train station is closest to riverside?? my camera and I are keen for a good workout

Bayswater is closest :) Let me know if you want a lift from there and I can pick you up.

I am looking for a professional photographer to take pics of Mason, I have enquired with a few, their studio sessions are cheap but then buying the canvases etc is so pricey  I am just going to go with a photographer who does the normal prints and not the fancy stuff for now...

Hehehe... I think you meant me GR! Yes we're still coming!

Mas: We won a voucher for Ellas photo shoot. We got suckered in big time, we loved the photos so much and ended up spending over $1000 on the photos! Thankgod for ezypay

I've been wanting to do another with Ella, just not in a studio like those were, but again the cost is a factor! If she gets her brother next year they'll def. being getting photos done!
