I didn't give her breakfast as she didn't eat her dinner.

I had to get up to her about 3 times in the night as she NEEDED to get out and toilet. Her temp was normal. 37.4

I took her to the vet this am just for a once over. Temp 38, everything else ok.

Conservative treatment due to her late stage pregnancy. So just chicken and rice diet for the next day or so..... SHe will love that.

Even though she isn't eating much biscuits, she will eat meat and the good stuff........

She is still fine in herself though so thats good.

ETA: she has put on 5kg since her 4 week ultrasound........eek1.gif

Congrats on those with puppies.

unfortunately our girl missed so nothing here. Am quite disappointed as I was so looking forward to puppies.

Have 2 girls close to coming into season so fingers crossed they take.

Sorry to hear about that Bel.

I hope all goes well with the next bitch if you breed them.

Jerojath.... NOT exactly fading away is correct.

I am hoping that isn't 10 pups!!!!!!

Her last pups ranged in size from 180gm to 300gm each. Only 2 big ones but her average size was about 250gm each...........

My other one had 5 boys at 500gm eek1.gif

That's disappointing bel.... hope you have better luck next time. :(

They are good averages Dasha! :)

I'll try to upload a pic of my girl I took last night.

She has just been introduced to her whelping box.

We were commenting last night how she really hardly looks pregnent.... maybe a little rotund.

This morning we awoke to find she had exploded overnight and suddenly looks like a barrel on legs!

Lol... They do kind of explode don't they.

Tonight mine is VERY protective of her area. She is not a dominant bitch in the family but if any of the dogs were sniffing outside her door tonight, she was straight into the whelping box with the food and growling at the doorway. I had to put a curtain up so she couldn't see out.

She didn't eat ANYTHING at all today.....

SHe is in her bed ripping up paper and panting......

She is looking a little bit unsure.

This bitch last time was playing tug an hour before her last litter so her actually wanting to sit in the box and not come out is a good sign.

She was mated on 19th and 20th November. Do you think she is too early to have them today????

my vet says anytime from 57-64 days is normal, remember its 63 days from ovulation not mating.

good luck hope they come quickly

Dash I've had a litter this "early" and they were all good healthy weights besides one little one.

I wouldn't be too concerned so long as the process from here on is text book (if there IS such a thing!)

I'll check in regularly for news!

6 pups is the action................

4 girls (as per the order book) and 2 boys for others.

All black and white.

Good weights and very strong healthy pups.

Hey congratulations! :cooldance:

Did this "order book" perhaps include one for you??? :)
