  1. Yep had about 2 table spoons in a cup of warm water.
  2. On the apple cider vinegar I have lots of scalp allergies and rinsed with ACV the other month - omg the pain! Very ouchy.
  3. Well done Reddii & pups! Poppy met her first sheepies yesterday and was very good. Very calm and had obviously done it in a past life!
  4. Because it is his chest and tummy and I going for a contact allergy. As well as stuff in the garden, cleaning products in the house can cause issues. I spent bloody ages pulling up wandering jew in my garden and Brock was still getting itches on his belly. I ended up stalking him for a couple of days and watching were he was snoozing. Was a totally different plant! Once I stopped him sleeping on that it got a lot better.
  5. As long as there is no pressure on the lead and I could hold it with 1 finger I don't care how loose the lead is. This is for normal walking. When the leads are loopy the dogs always seem to get their legs over it, which is annoying.
  6. You aren't supposed to feed the veggies, mince every day anyhow. You are supposed to aim for a balanced weekly diet, not balanced daily. I never did the freeze heaps of stuff thing. Read the example in the book about the busy mum that tosses this and that to her dog. That is how it is supposed to work. People make is too complicated.
  7. I don't consider any of the patties real BARF.
  8. Have you tried walking her with a muzzle on. That will reduce your worry that she might do damage. Would be interesting to see what happens if you aren't tense when a dog appears.
  9. Ok let's look at this from a different angle. What is it about her wanting to rip other dogs throats out that bothers you?? Are you embarrassed? Are you worried that you will not be able to hold her? Do you think that she might do damage if she does get away? I want to help you feel better about it
  10. I go feral about people rehoming dogs. If deelee did so I would not go feral. Just saying. You and your stories are actually one of the things that have changed my mind on this topic. I don't want you to feel bad that I feel like this. As for wanting your dog to run around in dog parks, heaps of us don't go to offlead parks. Bloody dangerous places if you ask me. Plus I want to be the source of fun for my dogs. I agree with K9 about looking at the positives. Some things that I read people getting stressed about don't bother me at all or I turn it into a positive.
  11. Think it is just on the CR DVDs. The email had 2 bits. Was a bit confusing.
  12. I just wish that you had a dog that you enjoyed Deelee. Your posts always make me sad. I do feel for you.
  13. On a thread the other week different agility handling styles were mentioned. Are there acknowledged styles or do all the different 'famous' people do their own thing? If there are certain styles what are the main differences between them? Whilst I think the SG/GD methods like work well for my younger dog, I am not sure about them working for my older one so I am interested in what else is around. Or I accept he is a dud!
  14. Shaping Success by Susan Garret is good. I am half way through and it has answered some questions that I had.
  15. The even more hilarious thing is I don't think I have seen LP's dogs on a lead Ok they were tied up last night so I assume with a lead but apart from that - off lead!
  16. Funnily the thing I did kind-of sort-of want from CR was one of those slip lead thingos....
  17. You need to buy Australian stuff to help the economy!! I will fix the problem.........I will give you Brock ......no more toys needed!
  18. Never had bum nuggets, lol. But do trim the bum hair sometimes. Poppy has the thickest, weirdest bum hair! It is very coarse and wirey and grey (prior to clipping). You might be better feeding a weight loss food until she is thinner.
  19. I did wonder about that as I got the sheepy tail from them. They wrote 'dog toy' on the customs slip and I got it really quickly.

  21. Midol after CCD (the first level) you are heeling etc off lead.
  22. Luke have you got one of these: http://www.cleanrun.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...mp;ParentCat=29 Might help with the tugging.
