All photos are fabulous, but the one which really grabbed me was #3 - the one of the two dingoes in the spinifex.

Yes, I'm a squeezer too. I agree, there is a time and place . . . . . but I did envy them their total absorption and lack of inhibitions.

  I thought of this thread as I walked through entrance to Castle Towers. Why? Young man and women sitting happily on a bench and she was squeezing his black heads

How To Choose A Rescue Group
Loving my Oldies replied to aussielover's topic in Dog Rescue (General Rescue Discussion)
Contact a few groups and ask to see their paperwork, that is their adoption forms, their request to become a fosterer forms. -
I lurve Tonka. Such a gorgeous boy.

My first little boy dog had that problem but as his penis retracted the sheath would curl in with it, so I would just tug gently on his hairs to keep it from going totally in. LOL. Didn't happen regularly luckily. Poor little chap. My vet at the time had a couple of awful stories (as usual :( ) about people who didn't know what to do and left it until the dogs were in agony.

Well it is really nice of Jesse to help with the gardening and there is no denying but Jonah has presence.

That's hilarious. My first two pups were Maltese with very very fine coats, so at age 6 months I had to have them completely shaved because although I was brushing them, I wasn't actually untangling any knots :o I used to call them rats in white body stockings. -

Oncologist Recommendations In Sydney
Loving my Oldies replied to Dave73's topic in General Dog Discussion
This is such a stressful situation for you all to be in ..... except it would appear for Jazz :) who is still enjoying life. I hope this continues for as long as possible and you are able to enjoy the time you have with her as well. -
Parents State Dogs Responsible For Critical Injuries To Toddler

Well done, police. It must be excruciating to work on these sorts of horrific and tragic cases. I'll bet anything that they knew from the very beginning the people were guilty; they would have just had to keep plugging away until they had enough to take them to court. I imagine the pathologists were under a lot of pressure as well. This area of science is not as clear as TV programs would make it. Lots of room for differing opinions and "impossible to tell how" injuries. Poor little baby boy. -
OMG - that last pic. Jonah is trying to make Jesse the same colour he is.

Oh gosh!! 5 years is such a short time.

Well, that is a thought, I suppose, VizslaMomma, but I do love Stella's little white Tufty.

Will Little Trouble turn into Big Trouble, Bigger Trouble or Biggest Trouble?
-
I am so shocked at Stella's wantonness. I thought she was totally devoted to Jordie. And now I don't know if my phantom puppy has been sired by a Teddy Bear Such a worry.
-
How unspeakably tragic. Hard to find the words, really. At approximately 5pm on Monday 22 of this month it will be six years since I came home from a quick trip down to Woolworths and found Tirra had been killed. Not a day goes by still that I don't think of him. So what it would be like for that family seeing three dogs killed and one badly mauled, I just can't imagine.

I hope this is treated with the seriousness it deserves. The woman [allegedly] stole a living breathing creature and, as such, this matter deserves the respect that apparently it is so far being given. So many of these sorts of cases get stupid, supposedly funny and jokey headlines. Makes me angry.

Vomiting Becoming Chronic
Loving my Oldies replied to westiemum's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Westiemum, insist on xrays. This has been Danny's story too. He is now on Losec, Carafate and Metomide but this medication routine seems to be helping. Good luck. -
Isn't Stella just that cutest little dog ever. And what is so special, is that Yellowgirl has approved me to have one of her phantom pups. Very excited

Blimey, Canetoad. We'll be seeing you in the credits for the next Australian roadie movie . Just great.
