  1. Yes I agree love that some of our pupster have special jobs from this litter as well as the diabetes alert pup we have a PTSD Veterans support pup, an autism support pup and a mobility support pup. Pretty proud of our pupsters. brilliant work . :) :)
  2. poor old boy - def a vet visit for a diagnosis and something to help . it could be allergy - or it could be obsessive . The vet ., and perhaps a behaviourist may both be needed . To chew that badly he must be feeling very distressed/uncomfortable , and he needs much more help than just a 'bandaid' approach . let us know how he goes :)
  3. Dogs who can use their abilities in roles like this are worth their weight in beef bones ;) Great news, tapua!!~
  4. I feed my puppy usually 8:30am in the morning, if I wait til night for his second meal he probably be starving by then? if he normally has 2 meals daily = 12 hrly is perfect :) if he has 3 meals a day ..then you will need to maybe just give some mince /small chunks for a quick snack :) maybe mince up the chicken necks & feed them that way ?
  5. tonight , guests cooked us a camp oven dinner . Molly was not very brave ..but WAS brave in her books ;)
  6. feed him outside? feed him on a piece of vinyl flooring or similar - in a pen /crate?
  7. ..and so very different! Puddenhead really is.... and Molly is one of those sensitive , perhaps even fear aggressive , very clever little madam .
  8. Well Starkhere is an MDBA member and Im very proud to say so. Well Done :)
  9. Watching Starkhere's videos on puppy training - then reading/seeing this horror .. a world apart , and so very sad
  10. Thanks, steve .I had a look at the full article ... yuk .
  11. Not against the law in Victoria (farming lobby) and I understand quite the most humane way if done properly, I would rather be shot if I didn't know it was coming than be given a green needle which always must be traumatic to a sentient animal...no matter how tastefully it is handled our dogs' lives are ended by our hand . They have no idea , are at home alongside us , and it is instant . Not sure of the point of that story - life with that breeder doesn't sound enviable
  12. sounds like they were the lucky ones .
  13. The veiled lady , and tail-tip waggings
  14. Sorry, no more photos allowed- because she has one of THE most appealing little faces- and it makes me go all soppy !!! She is just beautiful :)
  15. Another in agreement here - how are you managing this behaviour ?It can be very hard to stop ! :)
  16. Oh, Juice - it's so hard . You are correct - she has grown up with an entirely different life ..she is perhaps just over stimulated with everything ....Hopefully, you can get a GOOD professional in to assist.
  17. I would be happy to leave them if one or both were mine .....
  18. Except when HE has food !
  19. it's time to call in the professionals! could be a number of things - but I lean toward an anxiety / lack of 'social' skills ..perhaps even separation anxiety at this stage - she appears to have had a very deprived and insular upbringing ..and may never have learned simple things - like how to cope with new things if you are committed - then you have my respect .She would not be a dog I would take on , unfortunately .
  20. Oh ????That sounds just terrible.
  21. No. There have been fossils found in other cliffs 20 km away, none here as far as I know.
  22. :) we have one who does the same ....very helpful ;)
