  1. As I said...I could be wrong. Tarope, what I am a supporter of is logic and truth, rather than ridiculous hysteria. Here is logic: one dog that you got from a rescue group is not evidence of people no longer adopting dogs from the RSPCA. Logic, try it. Your accusation that I am an RSPCA supporter is, as usual, when you are unable to prove your claim, simply meant to deflect attention from you. If you have evidence that people are abandoning the RSPCA then post it. Can't be that hard. The fact that the R$PCA is crying foul that people are going elsewhere to buy dogs is in itself prof enough...don't you think. :D Ah, tarope, just keep on being hilarious. What else can I say.
  2. Sheridan, Can you prove there's life on other planets ? Seriously, tarope? That's your response? Do you really think the RSPCA can erase evidence of a media promotion from the Internet? Or are you claiming the RSPCA, media savvy and online for years, didn't promote a MPW online? If I had a web site I could make any changes I wanted, just as I can change or edit my posts on DOL...anything can be changed or deleted by the copyright holder. So the answer is...yes they can. :D

  6. Does Clifford look aggressive in any of the photos even with all his injuries...NO !!! R$PCA policy is they do not re-home pitbulls, this vile organization prayed on the emotions of the general public using this poor dog to get as much money as possible then released a statement saying poor Clifford had suddenly became aggressive and was killed... yeah right...SHAME...SHAME...SHAME R$PCA :mad ps. not having a go at you Noishe, thanks for the links. What an absolutely ridiculous statement. It is completely impossible to determine whether a dog is aggressive from photos. I'm not saying he was aggressive or that he should have been killed as I don't know the full story but when people make crazy statements like "you can tell from the photo the dog wasn't aggressive" or "you can tell from the photo the dog wasn't sick" (as is happening on Moorook's page), all you do is undermine any credibility the rest of your comments may have. You think my statement was absolutely ridiculous do you, well what about these R$PCA statements. "Clifford shows his joy and appreciation to every caring person he meets. He is very much loved by RSPCA staff and enjoys spending time in the Inspectorate office. He was even ‘blessed’ at this week’s Blessing of the Animals Ceremony at the shelter. We give thanks for the ways that animals like Clifford enrich our lives here at the RSPCA". Then this... "The RSPCA announced today (31 January 2005) that an expert veterinary and shelter team has had to make the extremely sad and difficult decision to humanely euthanase a severely abused dog, for the safety of animals and people. RSPCA Chief Executive Officer Bernie Murphy said ‘Clifford’ who was emaciated and covered in ulcers when he thrown from a vehicle onto a roadway at Ramsgate last September, had displayed increasingly aggressive behaviour to staff, despite four and a half months of intensive rehabilitation and training at the RSPCA’s Yagoona shelter". I wonder if poor Clifford had gone to a rescue group instead of the dog killers, would he have suffered the same fate...I think not even a person with a 6th grade education would smell a Rat here. Poor Clifford was murdered 8 years ago, but his memory lives on...RIP poor Clifford you will never be forgotten.

The R$PCA doesn't think people are that smart, and if they tell the same lie over and over...some people will believe it. :D How many times have we heard the R$PCA bellyache that we have no money and have to close one of our shelters...but it never happens because they've got millions and millions. :mad
  9. Noting the 'maybe' but prove it. My new girl came from a rescue group and not that pack of dog killers, that's proof. :D Yes, of a whole one dog. #rollyeyeman Had my new girl been surrendered to the R$PCA she would be dead, because she doesn't like dolls. I'm not the only person to buy a dog from a rescue group and happy to pay much more than the R$PCA charge...because I know the money helps other dogs...unlike that pack of dog killers. Sheridan you sound to me like you either work for the R$PCA or are the PR spokes person... but I could be wrong.
  10. Noting the 'maybe' but prove it. My new girl came from a rescue group and not that pack of dog killers, that's proof. :D
  11. Maybe the truth is people are now buying from rescue groups and telling the R$PCA to go to Hell.

What a load of crap, another grab for cash from an unsuspecting public....what a pack of Bastards. :mad
  13. There seems to be no proof at all that this Charlie even existed. If you have proof by all means post it. The R$PCA is very good at covering up their evil deeds and the truth, especially when there's money to be made...poor Clifford the pitbull is the perfect example of this... and of cause they never have any money do they. :mad
  14. Not the first time the R$PCA has killed dogs for money, remember poor Clifford... yet some people still support this vile private organisation. :mad Another few examples. http://lawyersforcompanionanimals.com.au/rspca-cops-a-serve-over-two-dead-dogs/ http://www.careaware.info/euthanasia.html http://www.savingpets.com.au/2013/02/not-so-precious-when-an-ear-infection-proves-fatal/
  15. Have your say people on this very important issue, don't let it happen. http://www.dlg.nsw.gov.au/dlg/eventregistration/eventstaskforce/TaskForceRegister.asp?mi=25&ml=1&AreaIndex=FB2
  16. I'm rarely talking to base level staff. I tend to meet these people at seminars and conferences. I was invited to speak to various managers about my research one time. When they speak frankly you start to realise how difficult their job is. When I was invited to speak to them it was partly about improving temperament tests. They are not clueless at all. A lot of the stuff people have been saying about them on this thread indicates poor understanding of the issues. corvus You have been brainwashed by this vile multi-million dollar organization that claims to be a charity. Ask your R$PCA mates to tell you the truth about Clifford and why they won't work with rescue groups. Ask them why they stand over registered breeders and dog owners, ask them why with millions of dollars they beg for newspapers and cat litter from the general public. Ask them why they spend millions on advertising, shouldn't the money be spent on the animals in their care. Ask them why they use these stupid temp tests, especially the doll temp test as I said even a person with a 6th grade education knows something is very wrong with them. Just for the record I tried the doll test on my rescue GSD puppy (12 mths old) and she jumped back barked and growled at it...even though she has a lovely nature and is very good with kids...mmmm I'd better take her to the R$PCA straight away and have her put to sleep. Also check out these links, you might change your mind ...so many people can't be wrong. http://www.markmaldridge.com/RSPCA-----SOME-TRUTH.html http://www.theherald.com.au/story/402230/poll-debate-over-rspca-temp-test/ http://lawyersforcompanionanimals.com.au/rspca-cops-a-serve-over-two-dead-dogs/ http://lawyersforcompanionanimals.com.au/opinion-poor-rescue-groups-shame-rich-rspca-2/ http://www.careaware.info/euthanasia.html http://www.rspcawatchdog.org/home.htm http://deathrowpets.wordpress.com/2012/10/09/rspca-nsw-working-with-rescue-groups-or-not/ http://twolittlecavaliers.com/2013/01/dog-lovers-take-a-stand-against-rspca.html http://www.savingpets.com.au/2013/03/rspca-nsw-gives-a-big-fu-to-rescue-groups/
  17. That child who's in charge of North Korea needs a good kick up the arse and should be charged with animal abuse.
  18. The R$PCA uses these so called temp tests as an excuse to murder thousands of dogs and puppies. The doll test is only one test, dogs or puppies that jump up...kill dogs or puppies that chase a ball...kill dogs or puppies that play bite..kill. How anyone could support and give money to these bastards I'll never know. :mad Even a person with a 6th grade education knows there's something very wrong with this vile pack of bastards who pretend to care for all animals great and small. How many of your dogs would pass these stupid tests, I know mine wouldn't, have a look at the links below especially the last one and the comments. http://www.northweststar.com.au/story/384977/rspca-criticised-over-claims-test-to-decide-fate-of-dogs-is-misused/ http://www.savingpets.com.au/2013/02/not-so-precious-when-an-ear-infection-proves-fatal/ http://deathrowpets.wordpress.com/2010/08/04/is-temperament-testing-killing-animals-that-could-be-rehomed/
  19. Say goodbye $250... zip code ? you don't need a 6th grade education to realize when a zip code is mentioned he's not in NSW that's for sure. :D
  20. Chucky would scare the bejeezus out of Kenny & Cougar. I have a 4 inch high Kyle figurine from South Park, when you press the button it says, *you bastard, you killed Kenny*. Kenny was terrified of it & used to run out of the room. I know, I was a naughty mummy to tease him, but it was bloody hilarious. Maybe we should let Chucky loose on the R$PCA as payback for all the dogs this vile pack of bastards have murdered. I wonder if poor Clifford the pitbull had a doll shoved in front of him before he too was murdered. :mad
  21. Would this dog fail the R$PCA doll test ? Maybe the R$PCA should use a Chucky Doll.
  22. We all know what morons the R$PCA are and the stupid doll test they have used to murder many dogs. I wonder if this dog would be re homed. :D
  23. Pardon me? I referred to research that links desexing to an increased incidence of Hemangiosarcoma. You joked about having a good laugh with your vet, suggesting I had said "desexing causes Hemangiosarcoma". In other words you both misintepreted what I'd said and rubbished the research. Because this so called research is a load of crap, as Hemangiosarcoma doesn't occur in every breed. It doesn't occur in Belgian Shepherds, Rottweilers, Collies (rough & smooth) Poodles and many others.... so who ever did this "research" and claimed "desexing leads to an increased incidence of Hemangiosarcoma" must have been smoking something. Check this link. http://sydney.edu.au/vetscience/lida/dogs/ What did shock me was the number of breeds that von willebrands disease occured in. I do pardon you. :)
  24. The fact of the mater is, no one knows what causes it and that's the problem. My GSD boy is 10 yrs old and never been sick in his life, so not all GSDs get it...and not all Dobermanns will get Wobblers or many other health issues associated with these breeds but the risk is still there and no puppy buyer wants a sick dog do they.... as you don't know if your pup will lead a long healthy life which is what anyone wants especially after paying $1500.
  25. Well, your vet can read the veterinary research published in veterinary journals that has discusses an increased incidence of Hemangiosarcoma in desexed animals and conclude that hormones have a role in preventing its occurence. That's not the same as "desexing causes Hemangiosarcoma". Laugh it up but the science is out there for those who care to look for it. Hemangiosarcoma is no laughing mater, what does make me laugh are people who think they know every thing. Since I lost my girl to this aggressive Cancer I didn't need to google it, as my vet knows more about it than anyone on DOL and in 9 mths saw 6 GSDs with this Cancer and all died. So just for you I googled it,here are the results. What they all say is ....it's common in GSDs and a few other breeds.... is hereditary and the cause is not know and is always fatal... it affects males more than females. As I said other breeds have this cancer including the Dobermann, the last link shows health issues with all breeds. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hemangiosarcoma http://caninecancerawareness.org/canine-cancer-diagnosis/hemangiosarcoma http://www.modianolab.org/cancer/cancer_hemangiosarcoma.shtml http://www.morrisanimalfoundation.org/animal-lovers/hemangiosarcoma.html http://www.wearethecure.org/hemangiosarcoma http://sydney.edu.au/vetscience/lida/dogs/
