Oh I so love these dogs.... wanted OH to get one to shoot over and maybe show.... all our dogs are gundogs... Labs as utiiity dogs and my clumber gilr who is now in training...

Gee lets see... Labradors... grow up and are obedient by 18 months to 2 years... slow down... Ghee I dont think mine have ever looked like slowing down... our 8 yr old will work in the field all day... and then want to play... My Clumber baby - she's 13 months... if she ever slows down it will be the day she dies.... she only has two speeds.... fast and even bloody faster edited because I can't spell

How would a giant go living in the home with 4 other dogs?... all gundog breeds They all get a run every now and then plus fetch etc in the yard and we have a relatively large yard... plus they are self exercising because they all run together... would that be enough on weekdays for a giant until we were home all day on weekends? Off lead areas are scarce here....

We are planting out a new garden and although we have Labradors they are nowhere near as destructive as one little white clumber spaniel. Our nursery sell a plant called Dogbane and tells me it is supposed to ward off or repel dogs.... I was just wondering if anyone here had used it before or has heard of it and how well it does or does not work....pointless paying all that money if it is just something else for her to rip out of the garden

Nope still not here.... actually posted a reply to an email they sent me and got a response that if it isnt here by Tuesday of next week to let them know.... NOT GOOD ENOUGH.... I paid a subscription, should have received two editions by now, have only received one because of some story about changing editions.... and now the month will be almost over before I get this month's.... and they complain about public servants. It is only Albury, we are not on another planet....

I'm afraid that I have to agree with Trisven in as much as Ag Shows make up approx 50% of our shows... if it wasnt for Ag shows we would have to travel 3 or 4 hours to get to shows... I have never had anything stolen at an Ag show and have never met any crazies there either.... well not at Ag shows but I've met a few at dog shows.... I think its what you are used to.... and dont forget that in rural areas, if we get a two day weekend of showing it is generally a club show one day and an aggie the next...

Well then it must depend on who you speak to because I sent Rosie's papers in last week and her title was back within 3 days.... unde the new rules not the old... she was only about 8 points short of the magic 25 but had over 130 in total. And DogsQld have issued a statement saying the will accept them immediately

Huge congrats to all the others who have sent off thier paperwork for Champion titles.... I sent Rosie's on Tuesday and it was back today... my baby had enough points at 10 months to title... so very happy....

Well I bit the bullet and sent of Rosie's paperwork for her title. I posted it Tuesday and it arrived back today... all organised, sash, title etc..

gundogs start with 217 egans number is 221 Rosie is 217 so there are 3 others between her and Egan... interesting.

Still no Dog News....
