I fed it once to the three dogs here. Two of them ate it and no problems. The other dog who itches all the time nearly went crazy scratched all night so there is something there that he is allergic to. I havent used it since but would consider starting a puppy on it (thats if I ever get another one).

If your Nan wants another dog why deprive her of it just cause shes old. Get her an older one from a breeder or rescue with option to return if something happens to your Nan.

Please dont let any puppy eat slugs or snails they could be infected with rat lung worm which can be fatal.

I have a lot of trouble with it as well. Find it very confusing but one day am hoping the penny will drop and it will all sink in and make sense.

Does the companion animal act only cover dogs and cats or are pocket pets included in it as well.

I have a dog here that has pancreatitis. She is on a diet of kangaroo, rice and veges she also has a 1/2 of a 4x2 a couple of times a week and is doing really well on this and has had no more attacks.

I have over the years bought home many 6 week old pups and have never had any problems with them.

I also use phenergen. My vet gave me a list of about 5 suitable tablets to give. She said take the list to the chemist and get the cheapest one and if that doesn't work go through the list. She also said to give the tablet early in the morning as it can make some dogs hypo and you don't want them keeping you awake all night.

had GSP's and Toy Poodles together without problems but the key is supervision.

I also would be running away from this breeder. It is law in NSW that all puppies be microchiped before they are sold. I would also be worried that she doesn't have a prefix maybe she has applied for one maybe not you have to be very careful these days.

My payments have been coming out ok so for once they are doing something right.

I am against pet shops selling puppies and kittens. I dont think banning them is the solution but I would like to see it law that all puppies and kittens be desexed before they can sell them.

I have an 11 year old dog here who has had two bouts of a bloated stomach in the past two weeks. The vet says it is pancreas problems and to cut out all fat in her diet and only give her chicken breast. Apart from the cost of chicken breast it is not a very good diet for her to have for the rest of her life. Has anyone got any ideas on what I can feed her, I am thinking she could still have eggs but she cannot have sardines because of their fat. Any help is much appreciated.

Many years ago when I used to show we were often asked to walk the dogs on a loose lead. I found a lot of the exhibitors wouldn't take any notice of what the judge said and still had a tight lead and ran flat out. Could never understand why they wouldn't do as the judge asked.
