  1. I think it's also what they're fed, how much coat they have, all sorts of stuff - I know with the dog at work most of his odour comes from his ears which are forever infected and the smell just sticks in his entire coat - ewww Some dogs (like my brothers dog) smell doggy within 1 or 2 days of a bath. But he doesn't have ear problems
  2. I often use my human moogoo on my dogs My dogs have no skin issues so probably not worth me trialling it for them.
  3. I notice that too RFT, particularly with our office dog who is Bichon x Shih Tzu That pungent greasy doggy smell! ewww No I assure you she does shed - just But her hairs are so short (literally about 5-6mm) and black that they just disappear! Except on the white bedlinen - lol  Minedon't get that 'wet dog' smell either - does Rosie?
  4. I would like to go but just can't see it happening unfortunately Hopefully I'll make it to the next one :D Should be interesting being indoors
  5. Yeah I'm another sucker.... my two kill stuffed toys in minutes and leave fluff strewn from one end of the house to the other.... but they have so much fun doing it!!
  6. Yes it sounds like one of my dogs the other day - but swap sheep for mouse Oh my gosh! If only I could use that as a reward at training ;)
  7. I notice quite a few dogs seem to sneeze during heelwork - especially Tollers I saw Zippa doing it too. I think it's cute- I wonder why they do it
  8. Right next to the kennel zone.... good one  Thanks for the warning - my dogs haven't been bothered by fireworks in the past but that new Bunnings is pretty close to me - hopefully they won't be too loud.
  9. It wasn't a proper trial, just a mock one, so lots of training going on, wouldn't have been too exciting to watch
  10. I thought my ears were burning You may be onto something though Thanks for the Ziggy info MM Congrats Boxagirl!! If I knew you were up there I would have come and met you and Booker, I was at the agility today
  11. Ah yes Ziggy is who Mirawee told me about last night
  12. Kyzer has little white squiggles in his eyes in front of his pupils - breed has no hereditary cataract issues that I can find info on, just wanna get them checked out, he's only 4 so hope it's nothing degenerative
  13. Eye specialist It would be best to get a referral for pet insurance purposes though right
  14. Does anyone know if you need a referral for a Canine Opthalmologist?
  15. I can think of at least 6 people with brags
  16. Far out what a brilliant night overall - there should soon be an influx of DOLer brags... And Ptolomy in particular had the most mind numbingly amazing night
  17. Hey Joelle, the State Obedience Trial is on tonight, judging starts 5.45pm There are some open shows (conformation) today but they might be finished by now
  18. We have a few people from WA flying/driving over Good luck everybody hope you have a blast
  19. One is enough for me thanks Even that one feels like it consumes my life sometimes and I have to step back. Am trying to do a bit of obedience too but we shall see.
  20. They don't seem to have the cheap tinned mackerel at Coles, only Woolies
  21. Yep I like the Home Brand Mackerel in oil from Woolies too, it's in a big tin (for fish) don't really feed them tuna or sardines, they don't really like sardines (weird I know) and tuna isn't really oily enough IMO, I have lean active dogs though so weight is not an issue.
  22. No it's gonna be the Mini Dachshund!!!
