In QLD on your prefix application, you also need to state what breed you have.

Could you maybe contact a few breeders if you are after a specific dog and ask if they would allow you to use their dogs in some photographs and use their bathroom? haha. Sounds odd, but might be worth a try!

Fair Work hearing was at 10pm tonight. So hopefully by tomorrow sometime it might be sorted. I think most of the international judges were already in Melbourne as there were shows today and tomorrow. Lets hope so anyway! How stressful for those with dogs, flying around.

Hi everyone. In the past, does anyone know of any QLD breed clubs that have held a national show at another location, other than Durack (CCCQ Grounds) in Brisbane, QLD. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Doesn't matter the club, we just want to know if it's been done in the past and who/when. If you'd prefer, please send me a private message with the info. I buy Canine Country BARF, but maybe we can get it cheaper up here as they produce it in QLD. I buy a 12kg box for $50.00 which equals $4.16 per kilo. I don't remember ever having issues with these rolls and we've been using them now for well over 2 years. Only ones we had issues with her red composite, but I think that was more my girls than the food. I noticed when using the red meats that they were each vomiting a little amount often. I went back to white meats and haven't had an issue again. I believe it was my girls stomachs, not the food. I guess getting it down to NSW adds to the cost of the product.

I don't like Daisy's birthday thread because it makes me realise my girls are knocking on the door at 5 too! I don't want them to get old Happy birthday evil beagle! Although, I don't really think you are that evil ;) Enjoy being spoilt today!

Who's judging the hounds, does anybody know?

We were there at 7:00am on Tuesday morning and parked in the mechanics on the corner. Even though it was $25, it was very convenient to get in and out of the grounds.

A cheaper option is getting a hot water bottle and freezing it, wrapping it in a towel and putting that in the crate. My youngest girl was born in November and we had some hot hot days when they were up and about. The breeder just froze hot water bottles and put one in with them. Problem was, when I took her at 8 weeks, she screamed the first night as expected, but just would not settle. The next day I went out and bought a few hot water bottles and gave her one the next night and didn't hear a peep out of her. She was addicted to them! Luckily when it started to cool down, I weaned her off and she hasn't had one since. But a good cheap alternative to giving them something cool to lie on.

What about Ffiona Erskine of Ffire Photography? She's a very talented photographer and does quite a lot of dog shows and was the official photographer at the Sydney Royal this year.
